I know what you are saying Nam, I really do. But you are being blinded by the good price on him. They still sent me a clearly tampered with figure. I mean would you pay $50 for a PF only to open it and find no base? Even Doom without his throne woudln't be worth that.

And I certainly am not sending him back. They can either partially refund me, replace the gun, or replace the entire figure (which they would need to send first, I'm not falling for the out of stock gimmick).

Let's put it this way, I wouldn't pay $50 for a PF missing a stand (ridiculous example btw), but I would GLADLY pay you $30 for that incomplete Cobra Trooper. Does that make sense? I'm not blinded by price, moreso, you're being blinded by principle. As for the choice, I really do hope you get your replacement. But who's in the wrong if the company requests that if you're not fully satisfied, to send the item back for a full refund and you don't? Sure it's their error, but at that point, it would be your (for lack of a better word - especially because I know you're not) selfishness. If you bought pants from Macy's at a sale price and they had a rip, you'd either be able to exchange them for another pair and if that's not an option, get a refund. Hastings shouldn't be held to a different standard just because you want a complete cobra trooper for a ridiculously low sale price.

I got my Trooper today. This situation is bazaar, since I ordered after most everyone, yet several folks didn't get theirs.

Do you live close to the location it came from? It would be interesting if Hastings prioritized their shipments by destination location in order to save themselves shipping costs on clearance items like this. When did you order? I placed mine last Monday.

Well 2 packages were attempted to be delivered today but I guess they had delivery confirmation so I gotta pick them up tomorrow.

Well contact hastings then, posting pics and whining here isn't going to do anything.

Me, I'd buy a sniper rifle and give his correct weapon and call it a day.

I contacted them before coming here and whining ;)

OK, the base was a poor example. But say it was missing its detachable hand/head, it would be a similar situation to missing the gun.

The pants doesn't work as there is only one thing to the pants. A better example would not be getting your fries in a combo meal. Would you go back and ask for them even though a combo meal is so cheap and not an expensive item? Yes! Why? Because the guy in front of you got his fries, the guy behind you got his fries and last time you were there you got your fries. You aren't going to pay the same price for an incomplete combo meal. And may stores will discount, say a pair of pants, if they are ripped or whatnot and they don't have another.

If they can't/won't repalce the gun/entire figure, yeah I'll keep it. I'll give them hell through Amazon, but I'll keep it nonetheless. But I shouldn't have to settle without some sort of compensation. I'm not askign for an extra figure or anything. I just want what I paid for. I got it the first time, so why not the second time too? I mean you guys that got your $27 troopers are getting full figures, so why should mine be complete?

OK, End of my whining.

If I paid $0.25 for a combo meal and didn't get my fries, I really wouldn't care. I'd go back in and if they refused, simply buy them because it's such an absurd discount.

The figure was priced less than anything clearanced on SS.

Munch, you saw the price,,,you don't even want the thing. your parting them out.

I will leave you with this : "if it sounds to good to be true, then it's probbaly missing a rifle."

I did want them both originally, but just realized I wouldn't have the space for them with the Throne coming later this month. So my plan was to part out one of them and probably keep the other. But now I'll probably just get rid of the other. I guess luckily the parted out one's rifle wasn't taken so I can at least sell the second as a 'complete' trooper

I still think you guys are all hung up on the price though. Yes, deal of the year no doubt, but the fact remains I didn't get everything that I payed the low, low price for. That is the point. Had I paid retail for him I don't think any of you would be against me on this. But enough of this talk, we'll all just have to disagree with me.

Since you already contacted Hastings, I don't see what the issue is. They snafu'd, no big deal, every retail seller does. Sideshow sent me a Tomb Raider with a exclusive sticker but no exlcusive sword or tray, they fixed it.

We just gave you want you didn't want.

Crappy, dusty shelves. Awesome toys:
