Re: Just ordered the MR Signature At-At

Bumping this thread to see if any of you got one or those who had one still have it.

Re: Master Replicas AT-AT

The photos MR had taken of the studio AT-AT from The Empire Strikes Back in the Lucasfilm Archives! The neck was quite something, when trying to position the head for measurements, and due to over 25 years passing by, the neck paint broke open and the resin neck part was found to be liquefied! Only the hardened paint was holding together - Source: https://www.modelermagic.com/?p=7013

Some interesting pics of the original studio scale AT-AT's used by ILM:

Re: Master Replicas AT-AT

Thanks buddy! :) I like the fact that the original AT-AT model used by ILM seen in the pics above is quite dirty, and not new and shiny. Everything in Star Wars is used and damaged, not factory clean, so that is one cool thing that sets it apart from many other sci-fi movies/series

Yep, that's one of the reasons why the Star Wars universe seemed so real. :rock

BTW, if anyone is interested I stumbled onto some artist proof plaques for both the LE and Signed SE version of the Master Replicas ATAT.

Re: Master Replicas AT-AT

Here's another favorite pic of mine of Phil Tippet in the process of stop motion animating the AT-AT's

Those are some awesome pictures. Not the kind of thing you would easily find.
