I think I'd b interested in the silver with black collar. (From Mr. Postman?) It's pretty unique

Either that or the charcoal grey. The collarless one is just weird imo.

And pjam, could you add that I may be interested in Paul as well? Thanks

Awesome news, Spenser. Your Mom is such a brilliant Outfit Customiser as most of us know, so let me say we are grateful to her.

Suit #1 was never worn after 63 and certainly never in the US Tour, it was the early Cardin suit Brian Epstein had made for them.

Suit #3 is very cool looking and is certainly iconic but I think it might cost more to make, just guessing.

Anyway my vote is also #2 Charcoal with Black collar and has always been my preferred look. They wore it on Sullivan and at the Royal Variety Show and is just a simple Classic look plus it might be cheaper to make.

A cool little anecdote: I actually met the Tailor who made the Beatles outfits for their August 64 appearance at the Hollywood Bowl. His name is Pepe and he was the Tailor for many Stars including Tony Curtis, Sinatra, etc. He still lives in the first house Charlie Chaplin built in L.A. on the Hollywood Bowl Property. Chaplin owned the land before he sold it for the Bowl, but kept the house there. I asked Pepe about his experience and he said it was a rush job. That outfit was also a dark charcoal but with black collar and lapels. Not sure if the Beatles wore that suit again, anyway you can see it on YouTube.

I asked my mom today if she thought she would be interested in doing some suits and she said yes. If we can all agree on one suit it would be easier, but for now she wants to try just one suit to see how it will look and about how much it will cost. Below are three; (The charcoal grey with the velvet collar is the one I would want for myself, so that one will most likely get made regardless.) but I do want to know what you guys think. Also below are two examples of her work.

Suit one: Collarless Silver grey 3 buttons

Suit two: Dark charcoal grey with black velvet collar 4 buttons.

Suit three: Sliver with black velvet collar 4 buttons.

I'm with you, Spenser. Def the dark charcoal/velvet.

So should we just email the VOX guy? Is he ready for the onslaught?

Still waiting to hear back from him capn, his name is Mark. I'm sure he'll get back to us soon...

Here are some castings painted up. I kind of slapped the paint on in a hurry just to get an idea. I am going to have to polish and remold all of them they came out a little rough and that's normal for this wax.

There's still room to hammer out some of the rough edges, but man, what impressive work so far. Can't wait to see George, too.

Something's off. I think it might be the paint. But they do look promising! And all of your other work is fantastic so I'll wait to see you take care of the "roughness." Can't wait to see all of your bashes, guys! And I think these sculpts will look great with instruments but not so much on their own.

Heres' my take:

Paul: Nailed. Absolute stunner.
Ringo: Nailed, even with the "slap on" paint you can tell the sculpt is amazing. Great expression too! :clap

John: Jawline, nose, chin, mouth, all excellent. I have a problem with how the bangs cover the eyebrows. To me, it makes the eyes float without being properly framed and looks a little funny/odd.

Easy fix: Sculpt John's distinctive eyebrows to frame his eyes and raise the bangs/hairline just above or on top of the brows.

Can't wait for George. :D

Amazing work Spenser! You nailed the hell out of these figures... and really like the subtle singing look for John. Makes him a very versatile sculpt.

Also Ringo is great, you captured is weird features perfectly :lol
