I knew about the viking, but I didn't know there was a knight planned for Live by the Sword. And the alternate display stands (trench/stone wall) are new to me as well. I do have the eventually produced stone wall at least.

And that Frankenstein! He is probably the grail out of all of those unproduced items! SS hinted at a PF of him, though I'd still love to get the original 12" figure of him. With $200+ 12" figures these days, I'd love to see them go back and release him. Cost really shoudn't be a problem nowadays.

Holy cow, thank you for that post Lonnie! There is a lot of stuff there that I didn't know about. Interesting stuff!

GREAT THREAD!!

I would have totally gotten the Spinal Tap figures..even tho they look like crap! :lol

Sideshow has improved! :rock

"HELLO CLEVELAND!!!"

You missed one, the Inquisitor from Warhammer 40K:

Sorry, I don't have a better image of it.

Wasn't Sideshow also going to make Happy Days figures? I'm not sure if anything ever got to the prototype stage or was shown to the public, but they would definitely qualify as unproduced.

I had only seen the Viking and Knight from pictures at one of the conventions, really cool to see them from other angles and poses. Thanks for posting them Lonnie!

I would not mind paying the wee bit more to own that Frankenstein: The Revenant in 1:6 Scale. Bring him on Sideshow!:rock You know you can and want to.:D

what about the lone gunmen from the x-files? i thought they showed the head sculpts for those at Comic con or something. but i don't have a pic.

and i wish they would've made that Agent 99 figure even if it looks nothing like her. i love Get Smart. that's why my user name is The Craw.

Wow! Thanks for that picture and info! I don't know anything about Warhammer, so was the Inquisitor not one of the "Brothers"? That figure looks so different from the 17 released figures.

Why the hell didn't they produce that Frankestein? That thing looks crazy good.

They said they determined it would be too expensive to produce at the time.

I've heard rumors about the Lone Gunmen, but I'm not sure if any head sculpts were shown. I would be very interested in seeing pictures if anyone has them!

And yeah, it's a shame they didn't produce Agent 99... they must have had a poor reception to the Get Smart figures because the edition size changed two or three times back when they first starting taking pre-orders. As for 99, she was originally including in the set of three figures they offered for pre-order, but was quickly axed it seemed. Anyone know more info? Dave?

Spinal Tap, the Live By the Sword figures, Frankenstein and Maria would have all been purchases. Very sad to see they never happened.

Wow! I'd like to add yet another thanks to the list, lcummins! I had no idea some pieces went that far only to be pulled out at the last minute for lack of interest! I guess this makes me even more grateful we got the Indy 1:6 stuff that we did! Otherwise all we would have ever gotten was ROTLA Indy and a bunch of teasers!
