It's a sketch for now. I think Mike wants a official announcement. Mike I would love a GL lady to join and still hoping, but you are really missing out on this line for the hope of a GL girl. Anyway Mike what GL lady would you want in this line?

I'd be okay with Arisia but my first choice would be Katma Tui done in classic look:

or even Soranik Natu.

Best Case Scenario though I'd get Arisia, Katma, Soranik AND Carol.

Star Sapphire would seem to be a natural for this line. Has AH! done a cover with her yet? Although that isn't a requirement anymore.

I would be very happy with Natu and Carol would be great to. I was looking at the SS Marvel statue by AH and thought to myself. DC does a great job at capturing Mr. Hughes art , but SS give the girls a bigger beautiful booty. That is the only thing I can complain about DC's line. I just hope if they do a Vixen they must make the booty of perfection.

I'd rather DCD kept true to Adam's art and not take "artistic liberties" with these statues. Adam's ladies are always top heavy and slender on the lower region. I'm a breast man so that fits me just fine! I also hope that the GLverse gets some representation with a Star Sapphire. Now that I'm totally engrossed with Blackest Night, a Mera would also be a very welcome addition.

I'm a breast man so that fits me just fine! I also hope that the GLverse gets some representation with a Star Sapphire. Mera would be a welcome addition. You could call it not taking artistic liberties, but some of the covers you can't see the back side. I know he gives Power Girl a booty. I know that Catwoman and Zatanna booty was right. Taking this a little of the subject would it be great if SS would do a statue of this pic?!

DCD seems to nail the art, nail the feel of Adam's interpretations where if you look at SSC's none them (at least to me) are even near close to what DCD is able to achieve. Even the control art that he does after the statue is already completed does really match up to the overall look.

It's funny you mention that. I've felt the same way too, and apparently many others do too. These have an ES of 5000 and are selling very well, whereas SSC's versions have a very limited ES and are easy to get and sometimes the price even goes down in the secondary market.

I agree with you guys, I think DCD nails Adam's artwork. I don't think SS's statues are terrible by any mean though. I love my Rogue and BQ and think they are close enough to the artwork. The one that I don't think worked is the Mary Jane, that one just looks like a miss to me, mostly in the face.

One thing I like to keep in mind also when it comes to statues being based off anyone's artwork. I look at them not as exact copies of the artwork in statue form but rather as an interpretation of the artwork in statue form. It really comes down to the sculptor that does the piece and their interpretation of it.

That's a GREAT idea! maybe Adam could sell companion prints to these statues on his own behalf at his table. Allison, would these even be feasible?
