AT LAST.
at long last, after a year of searching i have finally attained my ultimate 1/6 grail... the hot toys ROBOCOP figure!!!
i got into this hobby relatively late, so i missed out on a lot of classic figures, officer alex murphy being one of them. on ebay, this figure was hard to come by, and in the very few times he popped up, his price was either insanely expensive, or i was outbid at the very last minute.
so when a seller in europe offered this figure loose, i jumped at the chance. this is actually the robocop3 version, but as i have no plans to display him with the accessories or the stand, he is for all intents and purposes the robocop1 figure to me. the only downside was it didn't come with the original box. that was a real bummer, but i couldn't argue with the price! let's just say it's not much more than the original retail price, which is absolutely unheard of when it comes to this figure.
he's in pretty good condition aside from some loose joints. i just love this guy. robocop is a true classic in every way---an older figure, but imo still one of ht's best work.
anyway, here's a few shots of my most hard-earned collectible yet...
