Canceled mine as well. I don't give SS money for shady moves.

Marvel is where it's at. White elektra es 150 :rock

i may cancel as well... chances are there will enough to go around later at a lower price point.

Well, on the plus side, the more of you that cancel, the better chance of my Exclusive wait list being accepted.

Shady moves? Like buying more than one exclusive by using more than one account when exclusives are limited to 1 per customer?

Someone sounds bitter.

All in the game yo.

Well, what is the point of having a limit of one per customer if people just use multiple accounts to get around it? What is the point of SS having a limit of 1 per customer? So as many people can get one as possible at the original price. SS cares about collectors, but some people just don't care.

You cannot fault the man for being able to work around the system and there is nothing SSC can do if they have separate accounts, separate CC and separate addresses. You can do the exact same thing if you want to.

Maybe you should open up a thread in the Ask Sideshow section if you are really concerned. Or email them.

I dont see why a larger ES is causing people to cancel. Collecting just because the ES is low doesnt seem logical... unless your going to resell them after they come out.

Of course I can fault him. He's being unfair to all of the other collectors, who outnumber him. There should be one EX per isp address, as well as the restriction on physical addresses.

I may be mistaken and I won't mention any names. That person was possibly joking. But I do remember someone mentioning that they had been banned for life from the PPOs because they got caught with multiple accounts.

But I will tell you all something. If a lot of people are doing this...it could have a serious impact on the accuracy of the popularity of these figures.

And I am curious. If a person who has multiple accounts cancels their order out of protest, do they cancel just the one, or all of them?

Cancelling because of high ES make complete sense. For the most items, the higher the ES, the less it costs when purchased on the secondary market.

I love my Sideshow collections, but it is FAR more logical to purchase items with a large ES outside of Sideshow. The only Sideshow Star Wars items I have bought direct from Sideshow are the Asajj Ventress EX PF and the Scout Trooper EX PF. Grievious (reg), Boba Fett (EX), Anakin (EX), and Darth Maul (EX) all were bought for FAR less than retail off eBay or other board members. Heck, I got the PFs of Boba Fett EX and Darth Maul EX for $225 shipped EACH. Why? Because they both have high ES.

Very true, and sad too; and this has nothing to do with any "flipping" debate.

You believe 650 is a high ES???

I wonder what would happen if all EX ES were 150. What would people say then.

Dangit, this (along side of flipping) seems like the never ending debate on these boards. :lol I definitely don't want all EX's to be 150, but 650 is 50%+ more than the original EX ES for a nonkey character and I would have preferred it stay at 400. I thought that was a 'better' EX ES. Heck, the new Wolverine EX PF is only 750 and he is far more popular than Darth Talon.

I love the sculpt on Darth Talon and I plan on getting her even though I have no clue who she is.

After debating on whether to cancel or not, i chose to cancel. It was either this or the wolvie pf. I don't know why but i'm losing interest in star wars lately:confused:
