Being a long time Burton fan this was one of a few of his films I had yet to see.
I can't believe I've past up this masterpiece for such a long time now.
Johnny Depp captures Edward D. Wood Jr. excellent on screen.
Martin Landau plays Bela Lugosi perfectly, infact his performance is so good you completely forget he's not Lugosi himself.
Movies that can be watched over and over again multiple times a year, I love.... this is one of them.

Ed Wood is up there amongst Burton's best, IMO.

Wonder Woman (animated movie): 7/10

Quite good stuff. The DC Animated films are so much better than that crap Marvel came out with awhile back, that it isn't even funny.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 9/10

In my opinion still one of the best comic adaptations ever made.
The sequels not so much

Modern action film directors really need to study this film and take notes on what you can accomplish with a crap budget and practical FX

My guess is that they figured 10 years had passed and he was without mask. He finds just some random mask in a dept store and of course its not the same make.

Whiteout 7/10 - file this one under "guilty pleasure". It's not a great film but somehow I enjoyed it. I guess the fact that Kate Beckinsale is in it helps greatly

How is the picture quality on blu?

I have it on blu and I am happy with the PQ. The night scenes are bad, but the rest of the film looks very good.

It's actually VERY good. I owned on HD-DVD and the quality is the same. Surprising that a film made that long ago could look this good, but it's such a bright film to begin with (being shot outdoors in Australia). I would strongly recommend picking it up.
