Thanks for the comments guys.... sorry too put them in this thread but they are part of my vader display..not too shabby for the good'ol buck..
Verbal unfortunately the top shelves aren't in as the helmets take too much space, I've put some thought into custom frames for my detolfs though so maybe one day I'll get those shelves back LOL the Han looks kinda funny in the 1st pic but it's just that one angle

Don't know if I'd say "soon" exactly. The Fetts are big announcements that'll most likely be held for cons. Didn't they say in a Q&A that Boba was slated for the 2010 lineup?

I don't recall any target dates, even as minimal as a year, for either Fett, just that they're coming, but you're right, certainly Boba at least, will be a Con show off, not sure about Jango, unless they did him and Boba at the same time. Since AOTC Obi-Wan and Mace Windu are already out, not sure who you could show off Jango with besides Boba to get that wow factor in a con display.

They did specifically mention that we'd be seeing Boba Fett in 2010, in a Q&A. Just because you don't recall, doesn't mean it didn't happen. Look it up. As for Jango, what about Jango and little Boba 2-pack (for the Ex)? A perfect use for the decomposing Hobbit body and that'd certainly add a "WOW" factor to Jango and secure my preorder!

Young Boba is no wow for me, probably not a lot of folks, not like Vader and Stormtroopers, Boba Fett with ESB Vader presumably. We're due for a really big showing at this year's con, if pattern holds, 2006 was the Jabba set up, 2008 was Vader and Stormies, not sure what they might do for 2010, but certainly ESB related is highly probable.

Eh, but for anyone who's not a close-minded OT elitist, he'd be a great offering. Honestly, I'll be surprised if we see another Vader this soon. There're really only three more versions so they'd be smart to space them out. And with the difference between ANH and TESB Vaders being as minimal as it is, I'd really be surprised if that one specifically is announced next (likely ROTS, TESB and finally ROTJ). I think Boba will take the TESB throne for the 30th anniversary, with an Ex of 1980.

It has nothing to do with close minded or OT favor, I love the PT, but young Boba just didn't do anything for me, nor his costume, not to spend more than Hasbro 4" figure money on, and seeing him at a show would have nowhere near the impact of other pairings of figures.

Which come to think of it, Count Dooku, Jango and Zam could be a good eye catching display.

Well then, good for you bub. As I've said many times, I'm eternally grateful to SSC that you're not in charge of character selection. The line would have no color.

Personally, I think a young Boba would be great, and even better when posed holding Mace Windu's Ex.

I'm just saying I don't find him that interesting and certainly for a lot of fans, he might be a nice buy, but as a con centerpiece he'd be a let down.

For you, MF, for you. Incidentally, you've confused yourself or intentionally ignored my post content to suit your argument. I was referring to a Jango and young boba 2-pack as a nice exclusive for Jango (potentially at Toyfare), with TESB Boba Fett being the centerpiece for the 1:6 line at SDCC:

That was in response to your "centerpiece" post for SDCC. Unless you know of a version of TESB that had "young Boba" in it.
