My last two credit card bills told me to cancel. The announcement of the Capt. Jack Pf just made me feel better about it. I'm sure it was at least $450 shipped.

Maybe so, but that would be more worth it to me. I'm not saying that Blackbeard isn't worth it, but at the time it was being charged, I had too many other things coming in and I had to let him go.

You never know, I might not be able to afford Jack when he comes in either, but it's going to be awhile for him.

The thing I dislike about that box is that I'm afraid it will attract attention when it sits on your doorstep. I suppose that is the risk you take if you waive the signature requirement.

Good thing mine will come to work. Of course it might be fun carying that thing all the way back to my desk. I'm sure I'll get some weird looks.

Attract attention in general. I know most people at Fedex and UPS read (I should know in another life I used to work QA/Hazmat for Fedex), but the way the boxes were made it attracted less attention. This way it's more of, "Hey, what do we have here."

I mean they can attract attention from people walking down the street. Someone is unlikely to read what the box says at a distance, but a picture...

Why would u say they are cutting cost, shippers usually only have the numbers on them right? This looks like an upgrade with the actual statue printed on the shipper box besides the art box...

I mentioned before that this is the only box. There isn't an inner box, just Styrofoam with the PF inside.

My Blackbeard EX arrived today and he's in the new shipper box style. Just one box, in standard cardboard with the printed image on the front. The contents came fine and that's what counts.
