The helmet issue can be fixed. I'm more disappointed we didn't get the force choke hand as it was advertised.

Yes, the index finger on the Sideshow hand is bent a bit, but the thumb and the rest of the fingers need to be extended further out as well.

Instead, we got something more like this. Yes, this is cool too. But I would like to have seen an obvious looking choke hand as an additional accessory, or at least come through with it since it was advertised as the exclusive.

Excuse me? I am very happy with the look of Vader. In hand, there's little not to like. I'm talking about a missing accessory hand that was advertised as the exclusive. I had my hopes up for it and I was just expressing my disappointment for it missing. This has nothing to do with the accuracy of the figure.

well i actually like the pointing finger better as it fits with figures we actually have, Leia and the Praji, but I think its sad we didn't get both. I feel bad for people that didn't get the exclusive because to me its the best hand we got.

I'm glad with the way the Ex. hand was handled, we could have a pointy hand or a Force choke hand, but instead we get one that can serve as both. The right pose and view, I find it works just fine as a Force choke hand, even if not the exact gesture, and in other poses and views, it's a nice pointing finger, much more diverse. i don't think it's a specific pointing hand or surely the finger would be much straighter, like Medi-ROTJ Vader has, and not as curved.

Sean, I agree that the hand appears to be a conglomerate of both. But to be honest, I would have gladly paid a few extra dollars to get both hands in their proper forms. This is also why I am a proponent of accessory packs. If something is forgotten or missing with a figure, they can still release these features without us having to wait for another figure (e.g. ESB Vader) to be announced down the line.

That's what the regular Vader "discussion" thread is for. It's around here. People are just too f'n lazy to look for it. Unfortunately, it still doesn't stop the incessant repetition for the base of the complaints.
