Hey all,

I got my BD Endo bust today!! It is an awesome piece...very nice detail.

That being said I think this hobby has a weird effect on collectibles once you get them. I think the anticipation of recieving an item is sometimes better than the item itself. For the last 4 months since I decided to get one of these all I could think of was when it arrived. Now that it finally has...I am kinda...meh about it. Hopefully my weird mood wears off and I enjoy more in a day or so! It has happened before and now I absolutely love some of the things I was on the fence about before.:D

don't worry zahal, happens to the best of us. :D

i felt a bit like that with my indy pf. i spent nearly 6 months hunting him down, even going to another country to get him. the thrill of the hunt is what sometimes makes our hobby so much fun. and it might overwhelm the actual item itself. but make no mistake, if it's a great piece (eg: indy pf and endoskull bust) the appreciation for it will remain with u long after that initial thrill of hunting it has faded.

After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing, after all, as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true.

For fun :D

yeah, I was wondering if any of the endoskulls started to peel or if some of the parts holding it up started to have less strength, etc.

In case anyone wants to see, here is the eye from that damaged HCG Endobust of mine. Also, I have an update later today. The HCG BD Endobust arrived today.

man just save the money buy the battle damaged one and clean it up if you want the clean version its so not worth that price...

I've been looking at these busts quite a bit lately. I really want the Sideshow Clean version. I put my name on the waitlist, but sadly, I don't believe they'll ever find any stray Clean 1:1 endoskulls lying around any time soon and I'm not going to pay $1200 for one either.:monkey2

I fear for the HCG BD Endobust :monkey2

You know, I just sent the eye to a buddy of mine. He will use it for reference and may create a new one. I've been "toying" with the idea of somehow using it and merging it with a webcam. It may be as cool as a HAL webcam (which hasn't been done either).
