Looks good man... Really creative!
This is such an awesome piece, but I could help adding a bit to it myself. Not a major addition, but I think it finishes it off quite nicely.
I went to the craft store and got a little bag of broken mirror pieces. I broke them down into smaller pieces and "dust." I then poured them out on the base under the "hit" in the mirror. I then picked up the bigger pieces and left the rest.
Aw man. I really want the tutorial to this real bad so I can make my own.
Hey Buttmunch. Did you order your dio w/ the regular mirror also? Does it seem like it would be difficult to swap out the broken & regular mirror? I plan on displaying mine w/ Batman standing behind the Joker as he sits and w/ the unbroken mirror in the back. Thanks.I can at least tell you a bit more about it. The walls are made out of wood. The tiles are actually carved out. The floor is made of that layer of floor that you lay before putting in real tile. Not sure what that iis called. And the mirror is of course a mirror. All the pieces just screw together.
I just got mine today and it is well worth the wait! Dioramas just up the display quality of any figure. I've got this next to the Godfather. Its that good. Now I just need to find something else to fill the other top shelf on my desk!
