Well they already dipped into the EU for the Force Unleashed Commander figure.


I really hope they take the high road and don't make a "shadow" stormtrooper.
Sorry if you like them but personally,as a fan from '77, they're the single most stupid,sellout idea they've ever made into a SW toy.
Black stormtroopers = dumb.

meh, it's an EU thing. you can thank dark horse comics for them.
in the dark empire comic, there were a few "Dark jedi" grasping at what was left of the empire. Not full sith, but definitely not jedi. anyways, their personal escorts were the black armored stormtroopers. Much in the same way the Emperor used the red gaurd.

Having said that, i'm hoping this pending EU release is NOT a Black Stormie. I want one , but much MUCH later on. I'm hoping for Mitth'raw'nuruodo myself.

There older then that story they first poped up in the Los Angeles Times Syndicate Comic strip of Starwars. The story was called Called Gambler's World and they worked for Blackhole thus them somtimes being called Blackhole Stormtroopers.

Anyway I have a long list of figures would love to see before them myself but I wouldn't mind them if we do get them someday just not yet.

True,the black troops were from the old comic days yet so was that green talking rabbit but I don't see anyone making figures of him. A lot of Star Wars is and was created with selling toys in mind (SHOCK!) and to me the black troops are the worst example.

I think my underlying gripe with stuff like repainting stormtroopers black etc, is that it delays getting real movie stuff like Biker Scouts and Royal Guard.

I hope at least clone-wise we see figures like Cody and Gree instead of 9 different color variations of normal clones.

Hehe, good ol' Jaxxon. You gotta love those old Marvel comics and weekly strips. Kept us busy between movies.

I would not mind a blackhole stormtrooper, but later is a good idea. Many others I'd like to see first like a TIE Pilot, AT-AT Driver and Biker Scout. And I'd go for the different versions of the Stormtrooper Darth Finger mentioned. Especially ANH hero version.

As far as clone variants scheemes go, I'd personaly like to see them do a trooper from the unit, then the corsiponding comande, then the trooper from the unit, and the corrisonding commader. so before we see a 501st clone, lets see a cody. that way, better display options. Clone commanders would look best with Members of their unit with them.

Nice pics man, you captured the angles i like best when looking at this figure in particular. You have a pose similar to the Attakus statue or whatever?..looks like it.

Mine arrived today courtesy of the Royal Fail who threw it over my back gate!! Fortunately nothing was damaged, amazingly there's no dents to the box either. The figures great, love it to bits. :chew

Well after a chuffin long wait we in the UK finally get ours!
And was I excited. Yes
was I really excited Yes
Have we all been waiting for this figure for what seems like eons? Yes

Was I disappointed........? YES

I had been reading the forum and every one seems to love the figure!
I think there are some great bits! I really like the helmet sculpt and the belt and hands are great. But there are some bits that I just don't like.
such as the ill fitting armour! the painting of creases on the boots. The really loose body joints and the hunched shoulder look with no neck!
So overall I am really disappointed, Next to the medicom it looks a bit like a poorly made arfix kit, and I know its half the price and all that jazz but still...

Any way I am sure there are many of you that will gun me down in my tracks and slate the medicom stormie but it still my fav....
