Butcher looks pretty kewl, but Sideshow burned me out of the DEAD line entirely last year, so he's a pass for me.

In a way it's good that Luke/Han is the only one that interests me, because it's sure to be quite $$$. I'm thinking $189.99 for ATTENDEES.

I imagine so for non-attendees. The fact this is the Black and White edition makes me think we will see the color edition soon and this will be fairly limited like most B&W items.

No, that would be the Gunmetal Grey Iron Man. Not in the film the figure is made from. Cobra Commander is at least based on an actual figure, although not exactly the best choice for sure. I think the color actually looks good. Really has that Royal feel to him. But Blue is definatley the way to go on CC. But I think I see a cape on his left shoulder so that is something good.

i think mort will sell fine. and im sure ssc will hold some back for the spook as well. for myself i would want a colored version.......not really a b&w fan. (sorry monster)

Red Cobra Commander is based on a Hasbro repaint used to cash-in on a TRU exclusive 3-pack a year or two ago and was never featured in any actual G.I. JOE story. It's just as contrived as the Iron Man.

When are people going to understand that Hot Toys made this particular variant for a store called "Silly Things" that is in HK. Its Grey because the owner of the store is really into grey right now so that is the color that was requested. This is no different than when Hasbro made the Pink KT Droid except that it is probably going to run $170 for NAs. It is NOT supposed to be a film variant figure and since folks in HK have to line up to buy it and some of the eBay sellers are trying to sell it for $350 because they will go line up for it, I'm glad that SSC is bringing it on over. This isn't in the same league as Candy Apple Cobra Commander.
