Q: How about another fan poll for Star Wars? Bonus points if there some Expanded Universe characters like TFU apprentice. Also, how about a Clone Commander, especially Cody since we have Kenobi and Cody’s clone troopers (hopefully shipping soon).

A: We are likely to run new polls to help determine the interest in seeing certain Star Wars characters turned into products, like we’ve done for Darth Vader-centric dioramas. Clone Commanders will see some love in our Star Wars lines, including Commander Cody.

YES!!! I was thrilled to read that response! Please, Sideshow, blow the bank on Cody when it comes to accessories...all the guns, a helmet-less alternate portrait, holo-projector (both please, one recieving order 66 and one deactivated) and most importantly, please include Kenobi's saber hilt!

A: There are definitely more Jedi coming in the 12-inch line, but they’re a little further down the road. Characters like Yoda and Roron Corobb will require some unique body designs, which is something that we’re doing a bit more exploration with in 2010.

I think you may be on to something there, BUT

Mara Jade is likely to appear sometime in the future in our Star Wars range, although she’s not in the 2009/2010 plans for the 12-inch line. However, there IS an announcement on the horizon that you’re likely to enjoy, although it’s not one of the characters that you specifically listed.

considering the Love for zhans novels the mentioned, and all the military love we'vee seen so far this year, I'd say the odds of thrawn just got a little better.

I'm sure there are people who would love it, but I never played it, I don't care, and there are so many more that would be 1000 times more awesome that it would just be insulting. I do not want to wait until 2012 for Bossk, or Commander Bly, or a TIE pilot, just because LFL made a game. Star Wars is a movie franchise, and whereas occaissional tangents are welcome because the EU has offered a few brilliant characters, I have no interest in this line being used as a marketing outlet for the satellites.
