I like your sig too! now where are my royalties?

LOL. Locked in a room at Never Land Ranch with the other little boys, feel free to go get it. I'll tell Mike you’re on your way, and don’t forget to bring Bubbles a snack.

I can hear the collective groan now... :lol

EU referance: If going by the Republic Commando books written by Karen Traviss, Kamino was destroyed during the Clone Wars to prevent it falling into separatist hands. After that happened, cloning was secretly moved to Coruscant under the Emperor's demand and outlawed (they even hunted down all the cloners). It is at this point, where they start cloning clones from clone DNA rather than Jango's pure DNA. This explains the horrible shots, lack of organization skills, head bumping into doorways, etc. But those clones are aged 4 years to 1 vs. the normal clones 2 to 1. This is why I believe that by ANH, any of the 1st batch of clones would be well into their 60's+ with any of the Coruscant clones being loooooooooooong dead.
yeah, well the sideshow box says they are a mix of cloned and recruited personel and the sideshow box don't lie, bub.

Well, I'm a little late to the game, but here are some pics I took of mine:

With 21st Century MG-34:

With Hasbro's "vintage" OTC Stormtrooper (the only other 1/6 Stormtrooper I have):

The one thing I noticed that Hasbro got right:

Only gripe/complaint on mine, not sure if it is white paint on the black lense or a scratch in the lense...tried to gently scrape it off with no luck, will have to touch it up when I get a chance:

Overall, I am very happy with the way he turned out. Mine does have loose ankles (hence the stand) but all of his other joints are nice and tight. I did experience the paint scraping off the gloves a little, which is really inexcusable IMO. Other than that, a really great figure! I planned on doing a lot of the tweaks mentioned in this thread, and still might down the line, bu tI am pretty happy with him as is.

Looking very good!

Here are my own meager photos. I did the paint touch-ups and the slight warping of the chest armor.

Sad part is...Hasbro OTC 12inh Trooper has a more "canon" looking codpiece lol.

I know I'm going to get blasted for this, but, except for the helmet, the OTC trooper doesn't look THAT bad next to the SS.

As far as the armor, it is pretty good, the only major issues are the crappy made and poorly proportioned base body and the oddly shaped helmet.

finally got my trooper but i must say like others the helmet is completely off............

Finally had some time to mess with my :stormtroo

Tbh I wasn't overwhelmed when I released him from his box, but after doing the recommended steps by fellow freaks he's quite awesome.

The black headband on mine was painted by someone with very shakey hands and was sloppier than ones I've seen posted here. However I didn't want to return him due to a very tight jointed body I received, so I repainted it as well.

Note: Sorry pics were taken with flash to show the green in the lens otherwise they would look black. All the black on helmet is actually flat to better contrast with the white.
