It looks good but the paint job on vader is way off its too clean and they forgot to paint the right tusk.I do like it they did a nice job on the sculpting but vader needs a repaint.

That and the asymetrical paint on the mask, but it isn't something you notice at that scale.

Also grond :)wave) it appears that your Cap is missing his attenae. :sick

I am digging this dio, maybe not now but I will pick this up later on. It's the only SW diorama that I actually like.

yeah I'll try and pick this up later, hopefully for less. This signed photograph would go great with it:

Yeah, that would probably work well. I got a signed Officialpix picture as a companion to my PFs. Unfortunately the quality of this particular one isn't that great (seems blurry) so I scrapped the idea of displaying them together. Hopefully the others are better.

The paint looks great, but there is a metal antennae that is supposed to come off of the helmet; it probably snapped off during shipping. :(

I havent been keen on any of the Vs pieces enough to buy them, although this one looks pretty cool, has anyone who owns it able to poost a pic next to a 1/6th piece, just so I can get a size comparison for it. (dont want to get it if it doesnt fit in with the GG 1/6th set up I have!)

It's 1/9 scale, Al. :( Sorry, bud. Klauder said so in the video.

I went ahead and ordered one on second chance. :)

Thanks Monk,
Although if anyone with it in hand can fo a comparison pic with a 1/6th piece it would be greatly appreciated.

Oops. That conflicts with Klauder's statement. My bad. :wave

Just going by the measurements on Sideshow's web site (which are not always correct) it sounds like Vader is around 11" tall. He would be 14" tall if it were 1/6 scale (or at least that's how tall the Sideshow figure is). I'm not sure where that places the diorama in terms of scale though.

the backstage pass video says approx. 1:9 scale.

That's what we're talking about. Dave said it was closer to 1/6 scale, but I wonder if Vader's height is throwing him off. (He's close in height to a 1/6 scale figure, but a 1/6 scale Vader should be considerably taller.)

It depends. David Prowse is listed in IMDB as being 6' 5" tall. Even adding 5 inches to his height for boots and helmet, that's still only 1:7.5 scale.
