This and the HT Dark Knight posed side by side will shame just about anything else in the ol' collection. :rock A little Marvel/D.C. team up. :rock

My local dealer will be getting theirs this week!!! or the latest next week Monday!!!

I pre-ordered really early so hopefully there will be enough stock for everyone who pre-ordered the first batch.

As usual when I get mine, I will write a detailed review with lots of pics.

:banana I hope you get yours real soon.

I said it once I saw it at SDCC but I'll say it again this might just be the best 1:6th scale figure ever made.

Once a favourite contender for the best figure of 2008 but since it didn't make the 2008 date and at the beginning of 2009 with still lots of surprises coming our way this year, I dare say it will still be a strong contender for best figure of 2009.

Each time I see a pic of this HT Iron Man, Black Sabbath Iron Man opening riff will be playing in my head.

Honestly, I preferred the Hot Rod red. But I saw the actual suit at Arclight and the color is a darker red.

Here is a shot I took of the suit at Arclight. It is indeed a darker red and it was the actual suit worn by RDJ.

Admittedly, the actual suit looks really restrictive too so I guess HT weren't that far off with the articulation of this figure. Those other more dynamic poses in the movies must be CGI Iron Man.

and the excitement continues..:woo this came out fantastic..:rock hot toys isn't giving me any time to rest between releases..:D

Yeah, it will be. The other Iron Man figures will be as well along with SS Vader but 2009 is gonna be a kick ass year.

I honestly can't think of many 1/6 figures that could compete with this... the level of detail, extra doo-hickies and light-up feature are above and beyond.

Although, with HT they do like to outdo themselves and this figure makes me wonder what other marvels they will oneday unleash upon us?

Agree, HT is about the only one that really dive into making 1/6 robot and such. Terminator Endo, robot cop etc. Wish HT would really get more into the anime properties. There are way more 1/6 robot choices than live action movies.
