Well, going to pass for now. I was excited to see this guy last week, but not chomping at the bit to get him right now. I guess I would've liked more gear or something?

Ordered one from Sideshow, will pick up more as they become available down the line, and of course the variants too.
MORE?!?! He comes with quite a bit already. Not Snake Eyes heavy, but he isn't Snake Eyes expensive either.

At $100 I think its a bit too pricey for what you get. I would have liked at least another rifle.
I'm going to think about it a bit. I definately want 2 some day, but may wait to get them 2nd hand. If my retailer has them for $80 I'll go that route.

Yep, the trooper should have been at the $80 mark, but I ordered one anyway. If I find them for less later, I may cancel with SS. But I remember SS stating that the figures would run from $79 up, and was fully expecting this particular figure to fall on the low end of the pricing. Oh well, I still love this line!

Yea, he is more of a $80 figure. AlterEgo should have him for $90 or so.

I was thinking the same thing, and that they stated 2nd Quarter to get the collectors' blood pumping.

For now I think I'm going to wait and see how Snake Eyes turns out and how Snake Eyes personally inspires me before ordering another figure.
If I get SE and just ho-hum and not build up of excitement, I might cancel the line altogether and sell SE.
But if I get SE and am pumped, then I'll add the troopers.

Personally, I'm pumped for this line. G.I. Joe was my all time favorite toy as a child in the 80's and my gateway into comic books. I can still remember my first comic book, G.I. Joe 33, bought on the way back from a family vacation to Disney World. After reading and rereading that comic (which I still have!) I discovered that back issues were available at my local comic shop. Now I have far too many comics to mention here.
The fact that I had to pick and choose which Joes I could have as a kid, is leading me to become a completist in this new Sideshow line. Having seen SS and CC at Comic-Con, I was blown away. I want my shelves full of Joes and Cobra!

Only thing I'm not entirely digging are the boots... sculpt looks a little soft, but it could also be that they seem to clean. But aside from that real happy with how he turned out.
But, because I'm cheap and there is no exclusive I'll either buy from a retailer or try and get one on the cheap after they've been released. W/a limit of 6 per household I'm thinking he won't be too hard to comeby in the future.

Yea the exclusive thing is strange. They could have done a exclusive with a Silver Cobra logo and it would have made people by both versions.

SSC is weird sometimes. Seemed to miss an opportunity. They could have offered an officer with a red face mask and slightly different gear and I'd buy both.

I got the other 2 on pre-order but I'm going to cancel. I really cant get into another line. And the prices are getting to high. Then I think this will be a dead line soon like all the other SS 12 inch lines.
