I am not sure how I feel about the maps where you can die due to weather or an avalanche. It's cool in theory, but it might get annoying after a while to fighting with someone and have hail kill you from out of the blue.

I'm in love with interactive maps. They give me wood. Seriously. So many options, and things like that pushing you forward, making you choose to fight and how to fight.

Can't wait.

Like I said I think it's cool in theory, but getting killed by a random avalanche 3-4 times in one night might get annoying.

It will be ok as long as there is SOME sort of warning that it's coming and you have a few seconds to try to take cover. If it's just "Boom dead" with no wanring at all then that kind of blows IMO.

I have been really good about not throwing mine anymore, but lord knows I have wanted to at times LOL

There were times last weekend when Lonnie was hosting that were just crazy. Once he tagged me with a grenade and then jumped into a corner and I pinned him in the corner so he could not jump away. I blew up literally touching him and he just walked away.

Anyone pick up the Gears of War comic? Cool cover (same as game), but the art was a bit muddled.....I shall pick up the first 5 or so before deciding to continue!

My Carmine shipped - should have this week......I am dying to get the exploding Locust head figure

I am now replaying the campaign of GOW - its been a year and half according to my last save, so wanted to go back and be fresh. Always played under VIBRANT mode, but now I think LUCENT looks better....for a 2 year old game, it holds up pretty nicely!

Right now only games I am dying for are GOW and Left 4 Dead - everything else is a rental....except maybe Fallout 3

Kit, in regards to warnings, I know in the avalanche level there is a warning siren that rings 5 secs before the avalanche arrives, maybe in hail the warning is thunder or lightning?
It also ends certain people camping in positions & forces them closer together when these events occur
