No way Hot Toys does a repack with "version 1". They want customers to buy both versions and they don't want to piss off those who bought version 1 from the start.........hold that thought, they pissed me off with the Battle-damaged Predator 2.

No no, I mean just repack the v2 head but everything else stays the same, same purple suit, knife etc.

I'm gonna have to make major sacrifices for this. I think She-Predator Machiko is out of my list now I thought she'd be my first urm... Predator

Great analogy. Before seeing TDK, but knowing about the prologue and all, I'd have been in a position to say pass to this figure, but between the execution and a love for the character, I now want the bank robbery setup. Like Hannibal, his first moments of screen time define the character and setup the quality of the entire performance. His whole tone "No, no, I kill the bus driver," and the way he motions to maneuver the goon into the path of the bus is just great.

Having the Saturday Toys suit and the head sculpt that comes on it that looks like Fichtner you've got an instant Joker intro display. I may dremmel out a hole in the Fichtner sculpt and shove one of the Joker grenades in there.

Exactly repackaging version 1 with the new head sculpt would piss off a lot of people. I really don't see this happening. They would want customers to buy version 1 for the iconic Joker costume and version 2 for the additional accessories and improved sculpt. If they do a repackage I'm very sure that a lot of people would just get the purple suit + new sculpt and skip the Bank Robber version.

This is definitely an awesome figure both in terms of a stand-alone figure as well as an upgrade set for the V1, but I still say that the V1 sculpt is phenomenal in its own right. No, it's not screen accurate, but the menace and evil captured in the sculpt makes it a powerful portrait in itself. Personally, I'll still be proud to own that original sculpt, and I won't be modifying it at all. It truly lends itself to more mood-based photography.

And this Bank Robber version is going to kick ass!!!!

So I'm looking at the new pictures and my girlfriend walks by, looks at the screen and says"why didn't you get that Joker?" I took that as a get out of jail free card for buying this The new pictures make me so anxious to get this. That is pure Ledger as the Joker and I can't believe I would ever be saying that considering I was one of the "why is Heath Ledger playing the Joker?!" I do like V1 Joker also but once I get BR I will replace the head and put V1 away.

Thats how much I believe in Hot Toys at the moment.

Just waiting for the nod from Joe on the Iron Man Mk2 and I will have that on order also.

I guess the suit jacket could be used, but that's about it. At a push you could use the shoes and shirt too, but none of the above would be accurate.

It'll turn out exactly like what you're seeing. And the slicked back version is so you can put the Clown mask over his head from the Bank Robbery scene.
