For those wanting one now OSK has opened up a short PO for this and Bruce Wayne. Have to be logged in to see them.

Not sure if there's been a price increase or not. $198 for Alfred and full payment upfront, no deposit. And no mention of the bowler hat this time so I guess that really was for first round POs for once.

Yes price is increased, I have discussed with Mars, from now on I will try to take over if there's any left over from Mars after release, price will be increased by at least $20 for fresh release so to make a good reason for pre-ordering

And there won't be a 2nd batch at least for a year, even if the demand is really high, Mars decide to run a new batch a year or later, the original "Preorder gift" will NEVER be provided again

People think Mars will always do a re-run for people who missed the PO, people don't preorder because they want to see final product first and they believe there's always a 2nd batch

In this scenario, initial low preorder volume increase cost for Mars and they take the blame for a 2nd batch

Also, OSK exclusive hat will only include in original preorder batch. Not for the short preorder batch

We should have some hats left, i will put them up for sale later - won't be cheap also, because we count the cost of free gift into cost of extra hats for sale

Mars won't be able to continue high quality development if initial preorder volume continue to drop due to bad business practise

So it's time to make some change

I will admit, based on the pre-order render pictures, I was not feeling this sculpt. But seeing the in-hand reviews, I am now. I imagine there are many of us in that boat. I am a little bummed about not getting the bowler hat if I do order him now, though.

I've ordered all my Mars Toys from One-Sixth Kit so far. Never dealt with GianToy. As someone new-ish to 1/6, what is the word on GianToy?

Same here. Their releases have been stellar and they’ve earned my preorder trust.

I hope their Black Manta isn't stuck in development Hell. I am very much looking forward to that figure. I'm fine with the delay, just wish we got an update on if it's indeed still happening or not.

Not a fan of the HT version that's coming.

I actually had absolutely zero interest in Bruce or Alfred. Ended up buying both after seeing the final production vids from Breda

GianToy is just as good as Kit.

Their inventory is by and large the same but slightly different.

IIRC, Kit does not carry certain 3rd parties (was it SooSoo?) but GT does. And Kit sometimes get an EX accessory for a figure.

Both are good for customer service and packaging.

Thanks for the advice. Broke down and ordered him. With the Mob Boss Joker and 2.0 '89 Batman I have pre-ordered, it was just too tempting NOT to get Alfred after he turned out so well. But if anyone doesn't want that Bowler hat...

Yes that’s correct. Unfortunate but I admire Kit for sticking to that decision. Giantoy is my go to for soosoo figures but Kit the rest of the time (unless he doesn’t offer a certain item for whatever reason). Prices are usually the same or within just a few bucks and both have rewards programs. Kit is my clear preference but don’t had anything negative to say about GianToy.

Yep, he does. As long as you have an account you should be accruing points. I usually get an email from Kit letting me know my order is confirmed, it’s a preorder, the balance will be due upon arrival to the warehouse, and then deposits the reward points to my account.

It’s been so long I don’t know if you need to opt in but there is definitely a rewards program.

Soosoo’s first figure was developed and produced by eleven (quicksilver)

Then soosoo ask eleven to continue develop the 2nd figure but ending up he found another factory for production at slightly cheaper cost but he never pay develop cost to eleven, just took the sample to copy and ignore him

After that, soosoo contact sculptors to develop head sculpts - 2 artists Vimal and Nut Piz, ending up they both told me soosoo stolen their work without paying a penny

Maxnut also complained soosoo produce exact recast and sold through tns, they even copy original packaging selling fake as original

I decided to stop carrying soosoo when he posted on instagram that “eleven stolen his work” when eleven showed a picture of Constantine figure WIP (same character soosoo has had for preorder)

I have dealt with lot of people, my guts tell me this kind of people will screw everyone at the end coz he has zero moral standards
