Definitely think this will be updated before release since it's an early prototype and when the first BvS Bats was shown that one was made fun of to oblivion. So I'm definitely glad I at least Pre-ordered it this time.

It looks great as an upgrade from their first release.

But you just know Inart will come out and kill it with their proportions and better textiles. Old me would be over the moon with this, but the proportions are definitely all wrong. More muscle mass isn't the solution, it actually needs a specially designed body for his musculature.

Pass for me, but a solid release for those who just want to stick with Hot Toys.
It's about the preference. Personally I'm in love with this piece and plan to get InArt too, while I'm blown away by InArt Superman, I still think his legs are too thin and body needs some modifications, but I'm not complaining as overall piece is amazing, same goes with this Batman. We can nitpick but ppl who say this looks bad are just delusional. Perfection doesn't exist, wait to InArt Batman, there gonna be same kind of complaints. Ppl always complain basically about everything.

It looks good for sure, for Hot Toys, though. I do think it's solid.

But, I don't know where the excuses are anymore for not nailing a lot of aspects. I just think Hot Toys typically just want to stay in their lane and have had to repave it a little. There's no passion behind their eyes anymore, not taking away the quality of what they make still, but I think that's quite clear now.

But Inart you can see their passion for making details which for me, is as important and as simple as having a musculature and skeleton that uniquely behaves like the actor portraying the character. Well, I hope Inart do a good job of it, their Superman looks very good but still needs to get the proportions a lot better. But at least they're striving towards it. Hot Toys are just beefing up, as more padding = more muscle = closer to Afflecks Batman. But the body doesn't really look like it, it's just beefy. Beef without the finesse. A Tesco Value Sirloin.

I'm going to make dinner now.

Not sure how early of a prototype this is. @Aybaig told us months ago around the time InArt revealed their Cavill that he knew the ppl who were working on this and to expect the release at the end of the year which came to be true. The thing is, most ppl on this forum accused them of making false statements b/c they couldn’t share their proof. Just that the artists involved were friends of theirs if I'm not mistaken and folks here didn't like that as valid proof :lol

I believe he also mentioned an Armored Batman 2.0 but can't remember if he said anything about Superman.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get a DX/Artisan BvS Wonder Woman either

EDIT: sounds like HT BvS Superman 2.0 is coming with a sculpt from a custom artist based on Aybaig's post further below. Will be interesting to see how it stacks up to InArt's since they have that one now as go-by if you will.

I'm confused. Isn't there still a cut at the neck here? What benefit does the "seamless" neck offer when it's covered the same way it's always been?

I think it’s pretty impressive looking. Just not sure if I really want an Affleck Batman. I liked his portrayal but it’s really not definitive to me since he didn’t have many movies to play the part.

maybe it's less about the neck connection to the head and more about maintaining the shape of the traps under the cape and cowl, particularly when you have the Bruce sculpt on 🤔 It also means no gaps at the base of the bare neck where it meets cape when the cowl is off

Yea I agree with that, I own only Snderverse Hot Toys figures so can't really judge them properly, but what I see usually they are lazy as they had a monopoly and collectors had no options. Seems now they are pushing harder bc of the competition which is a great thing. I'm not a huge Batman fan but absolutely love Ben Affleck and Snyder's version so I just wanted to have both, if that wasn't a case I'd definitely wait to the InArt reveal and then decide.

Thanks brother I really appreciate it. Superman is also coming. HS sourced from a custom Artist as of early autumn.

No worries man. I remember how rough ppl were on you when that all happened and all you were trying to do was let folks know that there would be more options available in the future. If I remember correctly, you even mentioned that the moment you heard, you came here to tell us about it but unfortunately were met with some fairly intense "skepticism" to say the least.

I was gonna buy Knightmare Batman this month but I'm glad I waited abit for this reveal. Looks great, especially with the diorama.

Haha yes my friend :) I also remember being called someone "full of ****" when my only intention was to inform, get all my batfleck fan brothers excited and to save them from spending crazy money on old release(s). But it's ok. I've learned my lesson as well 🤭 but thanks again bro. It's really so kind and thoughtful of you :) my man!

I like the Affleck sculpt, but I think that's about it.
The body looks odd, and the abs look completely wrong. Also, I wonder why they always insist on pulling the "pants" down... makes the suit look stupid (especially on the earlier version).

I hate myself. I just paid for the new Tactical Suit version...

I guess a normal suit version wouldn't be bad. HOWEVER, I want to see what IA can do with the license first...
