Will be interesting to see if their Tifa figure uses a medical silicone upper body too - in the event she releases before AC Cloud, we'd be able to get a proper look at how it compares durability-wise sooner rather than later.
I believe she will have a full seamless body - unlike Cloud who just has the seamless torso. I find the seamless bodies are pretty common for the female characters, and work really well with them. Also totally guessing a November release. I don't think it'll take nearly as much to produce Tifa as it would Cloud and Fenrir.

One pic of some torn arms isn’t enough to scare me, some people just don’t take care of and with their figures.
Same. Though shocking and interesting to see, I know it wouldn't happen to me, I'm wayyy too careful with my collectibles lol, and like everyone else here has said: it's fun to get pictures of them posing but when returned to the shelf, it's a museum pose for 'em!

So I could exhibit in museum mode the crossed arms of my Cloud AC and Zack?
Or is it just time to take pictures for example ?
Crossed arms is going to stress the joints very very much. But you can get away with doing the pose for a few pictures! :giggle:

It's good that GT gave us jointed arms with FF7R Cloud so even if the arms do end up getting damaged those arms serve as a back up in a way. Though I do understand it sucks to lose the seamless arms as they turned out really well. I wonder if AC Clouds upper body is actually a new material compared to FF7R Clouds arms? From the looks of it in the images definitely looks like it could be.

I doubt the new material will be invincible. Unless they can invent human skin toys, all of these will crack after being bent for long.

I find TBLeague's body especially the female ones to be very durable. I have a 3 years old figure that been posed with arm bent 90 deg since I got it, there has been no tear or degradation whatsoever.

Agree!! Maybe they've upgraded Cloud's seamless torso to a similar type material as TBLeague. I'm not entirely sure what "medical grade silica gel" is in comparison to TBLeague seamless bodies.

a
I apologize but what is a "museum pose?" Does that mean just standing still with no articulation? That is how I planned to display mine anyhow as I fancy that look anyhow. Call me crazy.
For my part i use this pose, i think Cloud is Badass like this, and there is 0 risk for the arms

Shame that noone appears to have taken a stab at Barret in 1/6 yet, I guess he would be a more complex figure to manufacture though. Not just a case of using a stock TBLeague body with a new head and tailoring.

Well If I'm not wrong every GT FF7 fig has a new body in one way or another so what's one more?

I never really thought about it before, but yeah... yeah, you're right! :ROFLMAO: Every single figure they've made so far has had a unique body. Though it still feels unlikely they'd make Barret, Gametoys has been known to blow us away, so maybe they might surprise us!

i thought a company is working on a Barret called Barretta man or something. Swore I saw that knock off. But i didn’t recognize the company so I ignored it

Does Gianttoy free shipping use tracking? I missed out on OSK so I went with GT.

Giantoy is great too.
For me:
OSK Number 1
Giantoy Number 2
And yes you have tracking number of course
Thanks. I think I've only ordered them one time in the past and I didn't recall. I might get Fenrir down the road, but I just went with the standalone figure.

I'd like to see them do a AC Sephiroth.

It appears Sephiroth got "Nomura'd" lol, which is a phrase token to Tetsuya Nomura, the character designer for Final Fantasy, who has a tendency to give characters cool and unique looks and accessories for just style points, with no actual function/relevance. He claimed in an interview years back that he had no theory behind AC Cloud's redesign other than "it just looked cool" and this sort of became a meme lol. Sephiroth's belt was added in FF7R simply for style points (and possibly a place to holster his Masamune) and otherwise, aside from the belt, he appears to share the same outfit as in AC.

A long shot, but I'd love to see the Kingdom Hearts remakes of Sephiroth & Cloud. Even more, I'd LOVE to see Sora!!!! I know it's so unlikely but they are Gametoys, however... But for now, it seems they are very focused on their Final Fantasy line, and good for them, their success shows :giggle: Also, in relevance to your topic, both Giantoy and OneSixthKit are the best. Top tier websites! I've spent over 1k on Giantoy and I'm new to OSK but Kit is very friendly, active on the forums here and offers great prices and a great service!

I like his coat etching but I don't like his belt stuff in the remake.
