LOL! I was thinking of exact opposite!
I re-casted the HT Indy head and changed here and there to use as Deckard.
This was way before this release, so I don't know what's better anymore..

I've got a HT Indy head ready for my "Map Room of Tanis" Indy but will definitely see if the non-bloody Deckard head looks better. It's not a big deal, as he is wearing the turban, so most is hidden. It's nice to have these options, though!

Got mine today, couldn't resist some preliminary paint work, I think it'll come up pretty great without a lot of hassle, already happy to display like this.

This is the secondary head, removed the blood and eyebrows with light application of some acetone on a q-tip. Then put some colour into the complexion, really just some base staining to see the details but the sculpt is really there.
I thought it might be a bit soft, but evidently not the case.

Shortened the neck a little too. Might go further, but still just experimenting.

Really elated to have this figure.. been a dream for decades.

Looking really good already, what paints are you using on it?

That's the best Harrison Ford figure I've seen! Great work!

Gang

The original set is now going for about $3,000 + so for $200 + paint, this is really a damn good price if you love BR. The original Buffy head TBH is the best out there and rarely can anyone capture or pull the likeness out as this head. The only thing I would do is maybe weathered the suit and see if everyone can laid it to fit the body as well as the last few pics!

Fantastic work! You can really see the detailing in the sculpt now.

Just noticed there was another update on the KGH parcel today: Arrived at processing centre (Electronic customs information submitted).

You do all that in one day and call it 'preliminary paint work'??? That's incredible!!

The paint touch-up really makes a difference. Definitely a great value compared to the custom. The head may also work nicely for Indiana Jones. Less so for Han Solo though.
