I see why the customers were talking about midday. Secret Base doesn't open until noon, which is about eight and a half hours away.

They stay open until 8 pm, so some of them would've collected today though.

Damn it guys I need to get her don’t I? I have no idea how I am going to display everything lol which I know you can all relate.
Same here. Initial plan of 3 villains, 3 heroes, 3 troopers per trilogy was ruined by TCW and Mando figures.

Yes, they need to be baggier.

Might be that they're pushed too tightly into the boots.

Still love that Rome-esque costume design. I wonder if her look will change in season 3 and just how involved she will be in the plot moving forward. It's annoying that season 3 is going to possibly take two years.

Just curious but I wonder why noon, seems awful late? Is that a cultural thing in HK, late start to the day and stay open later?

She'll kick Bo and Din's butts, who are armed with dark saber and a beskar spear, by using her forging tools alone.

I looked at that, and it's normal practice for shops not to open until 10-12 am, and then some of them don't close until 10-12 pm.

I really hope that Toys Wonderland will fulfill my order. I already paid in full. My fear is that Sideshow pulled some crazy legal maneuver to prevent them for selling this exclusive figure. That would piss me off royally (and others as well).

FYI - this is ready to ship at Toys Buying Agent. They're charging $359 plus shipping.

While I am on the side of competition, while some would pay that to get it now, it's just not logical for me. With tax and ship, it'll probably be around $285 total for me to get it with SS. Mysterio is going for around $400 right now from China. Pass.

They already said all orders are safe and will be fulfilled.

Yeah the Hong Kong sellers are clearly testing the waters right now for how high they can go on high-demand first-batch figures, and people are foolishly paying $100+ which means they’ll just keep pushing it. Mysterio is only like a $200 figure in Hong Kong.

I get it for people who are popular Youtubers, but everybody else would do well to pump the brakes on these super-inflated first batch figures and just be patient.

I fail to see how this "first batch" nonsense is ok with most people but selling a long sold out figure at a higher price befitting of demand makes that person an evil scalper.

Yeah I don’t think either is evil. People have every right to charge what others are willing to pay. But we all need to realize that when we agree to pay those higher prices, we are setting what the going rate is.

Yet, they’re generally cheaper than Sideshow when it comes to later batch figures. If charging inflated fees for first batch figures means they can charge less for later batch figures, allowing the rest of the world outside the USA to get figures at a reasonable price, then good on them. As for people paying those prices it’s absolutely up to them, why should the HK sellers stop? No-one forces the buyer to pay more, they have free will to make the choice of how to spend their money.

It definitely was interesting to see places try to basically give TFA figures away and they still couldn’t.

Well that’s why I’m saying the fault for higher prices lies with us the buyers, not the sellers. If we’re dumb enough to pay double retail just to have a figure a few months earlier, the sellers are going to charge double retail and have every right to do so. This is reflected in Hot Toys own pricing, too; they think they can charge $455 for the Mark I (more than double the original price) because people were paying that and more for the previous release on the after-market.

And these skyrocketing first-batch prices aren’t leading to cheaper second batch waves. Endgame Cap is still going for $340-$360 from Hong Kong sellers because that’s what people are willing to pay. People can do what they want with their money but have to realize they’re setting the going rates as a result.
