I would really like Hot Toys to make Boushh Leia, but that will probably be in 2023 for ROTJ 40th.

Next Leia is probably Bespin Escape Leia. Easy enough to do.

Yeah Bespin Escape should have been a Toy Fair exclusive by now. I would really like a two pack of Boushh and Slave Leia for ROTJ 40th, unlikely as it is.

They'll go back to the OT eventually. Howard is a huge OT nerd. Outside of the Armorer, Mayfield, Cobb Vanth and Koska Reeves there's really not a ton of Mando figures they can do anymore. It's beyond clear they want to crank out as many generic, helmeted figured as possible to keep up with the load of figures they're announcing and that well from Mando has dried up.

Unless they do Wrecker, Tech and Hunter, there won't be a ton of Bad Batch coming - it's all Clone Troopers and not Stormies, and they already did Tarkin. That frees up their Star Wars schedule for the rest of the year and into next year before the chaos comes with all the new shows...Book of Boba, Kenobi, Cassian, Mando season 3, etc.

I can't see them doing zero Star Wars, it's their second most popular line and possibly the one that brings them the most money. They'll squeeze a few more OT and PT in this year.

I can't see them going back to doing displays like these. SDDC 2015 and 2016 looked great!

Yeah...that we're never going to see again. But they'll still sprinkle in some OT and PT. It makes them money and they know it, plus as I said, Howard is a big OT guy. Seems like PT stuff has sold well and the old dudes with money will through it at OT things. We're not done yet.

If we see nothing OT/PT by October/November time frame, then we're in trouble but I don't see it coming to that.

That looks good. A little busty maybe? Is there a link or site to preorder?

Just search "Mr. Toys princess" on eBay and you will get lots of results from Chinese sellers. Seems you can buy two packages, one with just the sculpt and costume and one that includes everything and the recommended phicen body.

It seems to be a Q4 preorder though, and I won't preorder from Chinese eBay sellers. I'll either have to wait until it's in stock or hopefully a reliable seller like onesixthkit puts these up for order.

Why isn't the Mr. Toys Princess Leia available for preorder at places like Toys Wonderland and Toys Buying Agent? Is it because it's not officially licensed by Disney/Lucasfilm?

I would normally expect to see it at OSK, TNS, or Giantoy but haven't seen it yet.

Marvel is likely the license that brings in the most money, especially with Iron Man and Spider-Man. The profit margin on the diecast Iron Man figures must be quite good on top of that, and Marvel seems to be an easier license to work with.

The domestic market for Hot Toys does not care that much about Star Wars, but they love Marvel.

Star Wars is a key license and still profitable, but the line has felt like a secondary priority at times. Putting so much into the massive pre Force Awakens marketing charge also changed a lot.

They were especially tepid until The Mandalorian. But the slow rollout of season 1 figures show that Hot Toys (and other companies) may not have been planning to go deep with the line until the series blew up in mainstream popularity.

There will always be more Star Wars figures, but they are still going to be conservative with what they release without something that really drives sales hard like The Mandalorian.

The Kuillers have squealed their last cry... it is over.

They have spoken.

Kuill proto has found its way next to Kit Fisto on Howard's 'alien' counter.

This is what Howard Chan Man wants - to completely break your heart. Maybe he might piece it back together again...maybe.
