I ordered (all my TDK figs) from a different store, closer to my home but no emails from them to inform me that they've arrived.

And icruise, you're lucky. From the link that I pasted above, it looks like there's a mark on the Bat-symbol of the suit. You can see it in several of the pics

By a mark, do you mean that little round dark spot on their figure's chest? That might rub right off.

No you just don't go around threatening people. They are very busy have perfect FB and are reliable. Plus there's a language barrier. I have been frustrated with them as well, but they have responded every time.

Whoops, thanks for fixing the link.

And yes, I was talking about the round spot. You're right it might rub off but sometimes, it could be discolouration due to chemicals etc.

Thanks. Reason I ask though is I'm wondering how the rubber suit under the gauntlets compares. My one major nit with the Takara figure is how the body suit tucks into the gauntlets and ends up bunching up, and I'm curious if HT handled that better.

I'm not one of the people who says that one or the other of these figures is crap, but that Takara figure just doesn't look like Bale did in the movie, no matter how "accurate" the suit may be.

The Takara definetely resembles Bale ... just not near as photo accurate as the Hot Toys one does. Takara's is a good figure. Looks like Bale, accurate suit. Hot Toy's Batman Begins Batman just looks like they shrunk down Bale in the suit to 13 inches and put him in a box.

Always thought the mouth on the Takara kinda looked like Val Kilmer... not so much Bale. But at the time the best overall sculpt.

But to me, this new one just captures him perfectly, which is good since its HT's second go around

Very true, I agree fully. I still love the Takara but next to the new HT its hard to look back.

Hey - just reviving this thread because at one point someone put a photo up of the HT Batman with a shortened neck. Someone at Mediworld also did the same custom but neither of them even spilled the beans about how they did it. Does anyone know of a thread or a website where I can find that info?
