It would be nice to have a place to talk about these films without the constant distraction of people feeling it?s their sworn duty to bash it.

I can?t stand the new DCU , hence I spend zero time in the threads bashing it.

Excellent posts and discussions so far. Let?s keep it on track and discuss the films without the bashing rehash......

We have heard it all before and it just derails the thread for people who want to discuss the film.....not discuss if it?s a good film .....

Wish this scene hadn't been cut. Phasma's cowardice was never acknowledged...

I'm guessing that scene got cut because of the stupidity of the name "whoop hog" lol. Though the shot of the two Stormtroopers subtly looking at one another (third frame from the bottom) is actually pretty freaking awesome.

I'm guessing that scene got cut because of the stupidity of the name "whoop hog" lol. Though the shot of the two Stormtroopers subtly looking at one another (third frame from the bottom) is actually pretty freaking awesome.

I felt this was a big missed opportunity, that version of the Phasma death was much more appropriate and fitting. Not to mention more plausible than what happened.

It?s a huge character development moment for Phasma as well. Showing a high ranking officer in the glorious Empire being a self serving coward....and her troops beginning to turn on her.

Fantastic stuff. This and the edit that shows the other Jedi behind Rey as she defeated Palpatine should have been in the films.

I think the greater sin was only using voices behind Rey in the final battle.....

Rey: "No... I AM." *hisses with sharp teeth*

Everyone knows how I feel about these films by now ... but I agree 100% ... that would have been a great scene and shown how rotten the FO was, like the Empire before it.

I agree, this would have been a much better version of Phasma's defeat. RELEASE THE RJ CUT!

I finally watched knives out and i must say its a great ****ing movie. After last jedi i had no interest in watching anything with ruins named attached. Glad i finally did cause i really enjoyed it. Ruin just needs to stay in galaxy far far away from star wars, star trek or any scifi movie from our childhoods

Why does last jedi and or tros have to be the threads at the top of the movie section. Can we just create an ot thread and discuss all this crap there, its would be more fitting to have ot threads at the top. We always got to be reminded of these movies when we venture into this section of the forum. We need to let these threads fade away like the st themselves. Just create a general “star wars” movie discussion thread or something. These movies dont deserve this much attention

Yep. I pretty much said the same thing a few weeks ago. I would permit one new Star Wars thread to encompass the Episodic movies.

I watched it too. Good movie. I knew who the killer was early though, so glad to say that moron didn't out smart me.
