Solid looking piece. The board is a bit shorter than I would like but the old COM I had took up way too much space so I can understand why they shortened the board using a portal. The EX is fantastic and well worth the additional $30. This will probably look really good displayed up high. I would think the shortened board would be less noticeable when viewed from up high.

It's very much a stout looking Surfer. But that's to be expected with a Bel sculpt.

The sculpt anatomy is top notch and I don?t intend to purchase another Surfer piece this price or scale

For this one, I'm just happy it's exceptionally sculpted ...with anatomy and proportions on point. The pose on this MAQ, even tho more museum, still shows personality and presence ...so yea, I'm pretty stoked. Finally get to have a Silver Surfer.

I am going to get this one just because there is nothing else in that price range.
He seems too buffed up to me though. Would have liked Doug Jones's proportions from the movie better, but it is what it is.

Yea, it seems everyone has their own idea of how buff or not buff Silver Surfer should be. With this MAQ, I'm more than ok with his build. I think it's just a smidge more than his ideal build ...so still within the acceptable range, IMO.

100% recast. It will also look nothing like the original, which I own : )
