I like the positive thinking :)

Thanks :) Yeah, people need to try to relax and realize the fact that the Classified line is selling out everywhere is a good thing. It means the line's a hit which in turn means Hasbro will continue to make more and complete the line. Awesome, if you ask me. Best figures in a long time imo. Stock replenishment will surely arrive soon. My local comic shop said they're getting more Joes in the next couple weeks. Sold out twice already. I need a Baroness for Destro and want Flint and Zartan released ASAP

In the meantime to cheer you all up that are missing out, you can stream (for free) the entire Gi Joe series on Tubi TV or the Hasbro Youtube channel

I'm really happy for everyone that was able to order the Arctic Mission Storm Shadow. I just received notice that the 2 figures I ordered on June 26 will be here Saturday!

Picked up my CI Roadblock today, awesome figure! I don't have the reg. Roadblock but I think I prefer this version more. The gun is still stupid looking but at least in black with mild blue highlights, it's less noticeable. love the little shooting glasses he comes with, and that neat transparent blue/gold paint effect. Don't mind the star logo camo vest he's wearing, at least it doesn't say "GI Joe" on it. I'd say this is my second favorite of the Classified series.
They had nothing else Joe related, the Walmart across the street that had the full display last month still had a lot of the first wave, at least one Destro and Scarlett and a couple each of the others.

Finally saw Baroness in stock at my local Target. Woke up late so I didn't see it was available until 30 minutes after they opened. Figured there was no way it would still be available by the time I got there. Marched straight to the toy aisle; nothing on the collector's end cap and nothing in the Joe's section. There was a young girl working the department who was extremely nice and helpful. I gave her the DCPI number and she checked both of the locations I had already checked, mentioned that they just got a truck in and that the figures could be out back and went to go find them. Shows back up after just a few moments with a fresh box. Opens it up and hands me one. I asked for another one so I could keep one sealed and she happily hands me a second.

:yess:

And with that, I finally have all of these damned Target exclusives.

:thud:

Hit my normal 4 Targets today. Not a single Joe figure to be found.

Are you looking at Popfindr or just dropping in? I’d recommend utilizing the former if you’re not already. It’s been very accurate for me and others and will save you a lot of time, frustration, and potential COVID exposure.

Yeah a little bit of both. When I ran across 7 Beach Heads last weekend there weren’t any listed on the stock checking sites, so I just pop in sometimes and see.

Has anyone heard of any more Target exclusives released on 11/1?!
I was at a local Target asking about any figures in the back. She said they have some that they can't sell until November 1st and said there were no pictures available.

I think wave 2’s street date is in November. I hope they’re not getting a second line of exclusives, especially before they’ve resolved issues with the first one. I don’t think I can handle that stress.

Target and their freaking street dates! :lol. Even if hasbro told them to ignore it today, there’s going to be plenty of stores that don’t put them out until 11/1 :lol

I have to say Hasbro massively screwed up here. They drastically over produced Ghostbusters and woefully under produced GI Joe. Ghostbusters are just rotting on the pegs. 2-3 cases worth at each Target. DOA. Yet they can’t keep a single Joe in stock. Who did that research? Mattel and DST both just did full on Ghostbusters waves. Did we really need more and minimal improvements at that? I know there was supposed to be a new movie this year but the Ghostbusters movie wasn’t exactly a hit. You’d think playing it safe with GB would have been the way to go. They’ve annoyed me to the point I get pissed when I see them now. All that wasted effort that could have been used for Joes. Heck, I haven’t been seeing many transformers moving either so Hasbro really needs to take a step back and really evaluate what is actually selling these days. I think they’ve over saturated with transformers, I can’t even keep track of all the different series of those.

I know venting here won’t do any good but at least I know you guys share the frustration. My family just looks at me like the weirdo I am for complaining about a toy line during the apocalypse :lol

Ok. If its Wave 2 then Im good. Strange because Target.com has their pictures. I was seriously having a panic attack if its going to be another round of exclusives before the end of the year.
I appreciate this thread, its like grief counseling for me. LOL.

I understand them underestimating the demand, to a certain extent. If that's the case though, why did they plan for 15 figures in this line already? Some people haven't even received their wave 1 pre-orders yet while others already have wave 2, Cobra Island, and then a handful of exclusive variants. If they didn't think there was a high demand, why did they plan out so many different lines and variants and have their release all chaotically overlapping? How did they get the distribution screwed up so badly that wave 2 is in hand for some people before wave 1? It's a complete mess from other perspective other than the actual reception for the figures being overly positive.

I got the Amazon exclusive Storm Shadow today. First figure of the line I feel truly disappointed with. The figure is just fine but the accessories are what hurt this release. The unpainted off white pieces just look like cheap unpainted plastic. Beachhead’s accessories didn’t look great unpainted either but the green was a little more forgiving. They look so much more unfinished in the off white. They bothered to paint the sword blade but it the little climbing knife blade or the grappling hook. If they aren’t going to paint things they at lest need to come in black, it’s so much more forgiving. I’m afraid these unpainted accessories are going to be rampant in the line. Duke, Destro, and Roadblock all got some paint on their weapons so I’m not seeing the excuse with the other figures.

They have totally messed up distribution. How is it that some people have Snake Supreme Cobra Commander before it's even gone up for pre-order?!

Agreed. Version 1 should have came first, even V2 would have made more sense. Those accessories are cheap looking and that's why I'm not using them in my display.

Hasbro Pulse is supposed to put up Snake Supreme Cobra Commander next month for pre-order. Any ideas or proof what the MSRP will be?
Originally, I thought it would be $39.99 like deluxe Snake Eyes but SE had way more accessories with him.
If it's $29.99, I may actually pick up 2 and open 1 up for my display piece CC.

He’s $30.
