Just received my Spenser MOLA RAM set! Outfit too!

I can't express the joy of opening the box and pulling out each piece, one by one by one.... so much Mola Ram goodness...

I'll post my thoughts later, but here's a quick-pic in the meantime...

What a great surprise to come home to......Mola Ram has arrived in all his glory!

No photos can do justice to seeing the sculpt in hand..... amazing detail, the cup and headdress. The robes are outstanding and finish the figure off!

You will be blown away by the workmanship, thanks once again Spenser for bringing together that figure we all have been waiting for!

Agreed, that's looking really impressive there! Although the robe is looking a bit short on that body. I wonder if it can be futzed to hang lower?

Unfortunately I missed out on the first batch of Deniz's robe, but I've been leaning more towards wanting the Bridge scene robe anyway so might just make my own.

The skirt with the high waist band is key for that Bridge look... and I'd be very curious to see someone concentrate fully on just the skirt.

As most people will likely pose their Mola Ram is full ceremonial gear - in that striking red-and-black coloring - the skirt ended up becoming almost unnecessary and streamlined so as not to make the robe too voluminous. But I would very much like to see someone do a truly proper skirt, made out of thin black silk material.

Spenser has posted a tutorial on dressing Mola Ram with his outfit.

For those with Spenser's outfit, these instructions are key. I already did the first move wrong myself.

Quickly assembled full on Spenser Mola Ram... I hope I have the robe on correctly...

(need to paint the body to match and add the arm bands)

















Yes, I am using the JX S01 body... and as suspected, very little shows. Just need to darken the neck, arms and that one side of his torso that peeks out.

But he looks spectacular in hand... dramatic and an eye-popper!

Wow, that looks fantastic Wor-Gar. And yeah after all the consternation over which body to use, it looks like we won't really see much of it anyway. At least with the Ceremonial outfit on.

I’m staining the body this weekend and then will add boots, bands on arms and paint....

Thanks man! It is that rare 3-sheet indeed. Been carrying it around with me since I had it framed in 1993! Bought it at some Bond convention at LAX.
