That's her! That's how I remember her! Tough... determined... Luke's sister!

...yes definitely. Isn?t Harley the only time that HT has given a female figure an actual expressive expression? ...using more or less the same dead stare sculpt on all the Leia figure is both lazy and lacks imagination.

Yeah... when they do Slave Leia they need to give her this expression...

Its what you all really want from that outfit.

Well with a ROTJ version of both the Mando speeder bike and biker scout presumably not too far away (then again, this is HT so maybe not:lol,) I guess Han Trench makes more sense than Han Bespin at this point given the ROTJ saturation. Leia Bespin was an ESB outlier.

But yeah - you have to start to measure possible figure release timeframes against a sizable chunk of a single human life.:lol Like imagine a 2015 conversation in the lead up to Han's return in TFA about whether HT will do a Han Bespin, now it's five years later and still no sign of that figure, and maybe they preview it SDCC next year and deliver it mid the following year. That's almost a decade.:horror

Don't save your money, spend it while you can enjoy it. Now that the apocalypse is upon us it's only a matter of time...

I am being sarcastic of course but I remember back when the world was pretty normal. That was about 3 short months ago

Argh, fine, I'm sold on Wicket. Placing my first order with Toys Buying Agent based on the recommendations in here.

I really want the helmet-drums, but not quite enough to get the whole 2-pack. So, uh, if anyone ends up with extras...

So the single Wicket comes with drum sticks but no helmets? Forgot about that.

On the plus side, when the Wicket single comes out, it will likely have a less dark brown hood.

Yeah, Han Luke and Leia are probably some of the more expressive movie characters so it is kind of a bummer that there aren't at least a few attempts at expressions. Many movie characters are pretty stoic expression-wise, or their "iconic pose" is stoic, so the expressionless sculpt can work, and it is nice to have the SW heroes that way, but not every single time.

We seem to be marching through release after release of SW heroes that are all side by side on the shelf staring off with a dead stare. It's the problem I have with yet another reissue of this same Leia sculpt - now three taxidermy Leias.

I guess HT also has trouble with stronger expression sculpts, or at least in the way they do them. The key issue with the dentist/cheesy grin Luke is that they just reused the more passive top portion of the V.1 sculpt and coupled it with this extreme snarl and the combo looks odd to me. They should have just done an all-new sculpt.

Never noticed that. I guess my Wicket can do some air drumming.:lol

I?ll be buying from them again for sure. The next couple SW releases coming up are major wants of mine so I?ll probably do the quick shipping option again on those.

Packaged extremely well. No official shipper but wrapped in bubble wrap, put in a box, completely wrapped in bubble wrap again then wrapped in a very heavy weight paper and taped up. Absolutely no damage or even any tears on it and the art box was pristine.

Thanks for that. Glad to hear they package them well. Tempted to get this Leia from them as it is a bit cheaper then getting locally, which I found is not normally the case. A shipper box is nice for storage and possible resale value but not a deal breaker.

My feelings exactly. I really wish we could see more expressions like the one on the new WW sculpt, as just that hint of a smile and warmer expression makes a world of difference. And I would have loved to see the same thing on a Luke or Leia sculpt.

So..I just watched another video review of Wicket on MRCcollectionventures and his version has lot more shading then the sample in Justin's video and especially the very first blog shots we saw. Is it possible the first wave was absent the color and HT is correcting it in later waves?

I think maybe it's just lighting - the Dad who reviews with his kids has pretty dark lighting whereas the Justin reviews are in a bright light box.

I bet it’s a factory thing. Those dark patches just around the mouth and under the eyes doesn’t look like a lighting issue to me.
