Can't really go wrong with HLJ. I've only ordered a couple times from Nippon Yasan, and it was several years ago, so not sure I can safely recommend them currently. MyKombini has him, and I have heard lots of positive reviews about them over the years. Honestly, as long as the website doesn't look like it was slapped together overnight, you'll probably be okay no matter where you order from.

Don't suppose anyone has a recommended importer for IG-11, by any chance? I tried googling around, but I kept finding really lousy reviews of the places that were listing him.

I've ordered from Anime-Export, Mykombini, and Nippon-Yasan for web exclusives. I'd go in order: Mykombini, Anime-Export, and dead last Nippon-Yasan. I had mostly good experiences with NY, but they're typically more expensive and have expensive shipping.

Mykombini is pretty good with pricing and shipping. I like Anime-Export but have a less user friendly site IMO, and only shipping options there is JapanPost. DHL and Fedex both ship out of Japan, but Anime-Export doesn't use them. They're literally shipping nothing to the US or outside of Japan right now it seems.

Anime-Export lets you group your items together, they have a sort of unofficial warehouse. It's not listed on their site how long you can hold items, but I've done it for a couple months in the past to group ship.

Mykombini is just straight forward in general and gives shipping estimates at time of shipping. AE doesn't.

The email said "We are contacting to inform you that the postal service has temporarily stopped all shipments to your country/region. For this reason, shipments of recently paid orders will be placed on hold until shipping to your country/region becomes available again"

It worked out in my favor since I was having second thoughts after already sending in payment. They accepted my cancellation request.

Just not happy with the way Mando turned out..

DHL. Got mine today. Initial email had said delivery by 6/8/20. It arrived 6/2/20. I paid for the item on Sun. DHL is always the way to go.

Figure looks nice. Elevate the neck and the helmet looks good. So, this figure has some bad accessory implementation. Two tiny parts - one for the front - connects to the chest bandoleer and one that connects the holsters.

The part for the holster is on the figure, but mine broke off/came apart right away. It's the nightmare part. Had to spend 5 min combing the carpet for a part 1/4 the size of a penny. And, on mine, the left arm articulated joint came undone. going to have to superglue that back.

Sometimes I feel like SH Figuarts overly complicates their designs to make it feel PREMIUM.

Be careful with the small parts. Especially, that ****ing holster one. LOL

Got Amazon japan SH Figuarts yesterday; very small crease on top of the box but whatever. Just my **** tendencies. I like the fig a lot; I got it mostly as a stop gap until my big mando comes in Dec.

I will say, I really like the Figuarts Mandalorian.I wasn?t sure before but now I may stick with the Figuarts Beskar version instead of going with the MAFEX, but I might want the variety (and I said the same about IW Thor but I just ordered that).
That being said, I have a couple of issues:
1) The neck is too short which we did know, but it doesn?t seem to difficult to fix
2) Too clean. Again we knew this and it just needs some paint
3) The swap out pieces. The holster swaps out but you also need to swap out the strap, and the rifle strap connects to a small hole after the stock part, meaning you have to swap out that tiny piece.
Other than that I really like it. I?m very partial to the Figuarts aesthetic but I still think it?s really good.

a) Have you ordered something via DHL?

b) Did they provide a valid tracking number with the text?

If "no" to either of those I would ignore it.

Safest is to look up the tracking number on the DHL site. Then choose your delivery options from there.
