Wow that's a remarkable conversion. The only suggestion I'd offer would be to put some detail into the eyebrows. A little visual texture would blend it together nicely!

So in my boredom I decided to try and tackle getting a McGonagall in my collection so
I found one of those Walmart dolls for $5 on eBay and started playing around- now just waiting for the 1:6 body to get here and we?ll see how she fairs next to everyone else View attachment 482387

Looking good, excellent work! :clap She is my most wanted character from this line so I really hope Star Ace will give us a McGongall figure...but I'm not holding my breath.

Great work!

I love McGonagall, she's always been one of my favorites of the teachers, but I'm not sure how a SA McGonagall would turn out.

Finished her up today! I now have a McGonagall I am content with in my collection......

Now if Star Ace could give us a POA or DH Minerva I’ll be all set......oh and an Umbridge......and Trelawny......maybe Tonks.....we need more women in this line!!

Just saw a Russian video review of Snape 2.0 (easy to find on YT if you?re interested). Getting ready to prepare and season my words a few pages back for eating...

Sure looks as though they took an easy chip shot update of an existing sculpt they had already had approved and produced and hit a worm burner instead.

I wasn?t prepared to pronounce this 2.0 dead on arrival based on one terrible photo that had surfaced, but the evidence is mounting that instead of updating 1.0, they produced a whole new sculpt using quality standards reminiscent of such storied works as Teen Ron and Train Wreck Hermione...

I just don?t get it. Why?? Were they afraid to make a figure whose quality stood out just a bit from the crap they?ve been serving us for the last two years?

Here is easily the best shot:

And the pi?ce de r?sistance:

How did we get here, and how do I get off the ride?

It ia truly terrible! Such a shame that they can't produce decent figures of late.

:lol It is a truly terrible effort (if you can call it that), what were they thinking!? So glad I picked up the first version.

Oh, and Riddler, if this were the McGonagal we got from Star Ace, it would be their best release in two years. Congrats!

That Snape is every bit as awful as it looked in that first pic posted of it a few pages back. The first version will just increase in value.

Sad that Snapes bad but glad I got the first one and can save money.

On an unrelated note- what does anyone think the odds are of Star Ace reusing the Griphook body (and maybe even some of the 2.0 clothes) to give us a Flitwick?

Would be smart, but I wouldnt expect it. Also I sent you a pm

It's the opposite with them - their first few HP figures were their best. It's almost all been downhill since.
