I’m thinking about doing this pose for Target Practice. I love the scene! Could anyone point me to a backpack that looks similar to this?

A quick search on eBay and there’s several khaki green 1:6 scale backpacks that look similar to that. Mainly from Hong Kong.

I’ll take a look. Luke’s isn’t the right color and size. Should look sort of like a pretty standard old military backpack.

Those others look good but you could try to expand the Sideshow rebel commando backpack (ie slice the side that attaches to the figure's back) to make it appear maybe 30% bigger - it has a similar double flap lower design, but it's kinda hard to see in the ref pic. The cut/sew is a bit dated but it could be modded.

anyone know how to get the legs apart? one of the rods inside of the hips has come out so need to fix it

Has anyone come up with a way to make this guy's eyes seem brighter without the light being on?

Maybe some hard core glow in the dark paint? Or maybe a reflective material? Which I no idea of what...
You really wanna go hard core, you can always do the old hole in the top of the head approach to let the overhead light go in, but we all know nobody would do that..

LOL I just wish Hot Toys would design these with the idea in mind that 99% of the time the thing is going to be off. I want it to not look dead on the shelf while it's off, which would be always.

I agree but that would defeat their selling point of light up features. My pet gripe is how fiddly and annoying it is to switch on most figures' light switches
