I wonder why they don't use the nice supple Jedi robe material? Wouldn't that work better?

Sdcc is a Star Wars fail, especially if wicket and Endor leia never get to preorder.
I still feel like we've seen 70-80%... and that there's still a few more surprises. Maybe one big display piece.

People are starting to speculate that SS doesn’t even have the SW license anymore.
Been talking about that for many, many months.
That chamois-type material they used on HT Ben doesn't look great. I ended up swapping to the Sideshow Ben robe. Though many of the Jedi robes are more like a wool blanket material, whereas the Jawa robes are a coarse open weave almost muslin fabric.

starting to speculate? LoL. They have been doing that since 2005 when i first learned of HTs.
Maybe at the next con dis on esa done......lack luster but plenty of reconfirmed figs and some cool newer ones.... Fisto is the only strong doubtful option at this point
I doubt it. Too much money to be made. Problem is HT doesn't make the cool stuff.

I dont know guys even though I have only been lurking here since 2017, but this SDCC is literally the most boring event. Jawas and Fisto are quite the surprise, but not that kind of excited surprise though.

When DarkChocobi complains, you know it's bad.
Last year was worse overall. But SW was for sure rough this year. Perhaps they are just struggling on sculpts and/or prioritizing Marvel right now. HT could capitalize on EP9 hype at the end of the year and perhaps beginning of 2020.

Fisto isn't even a good surprise. If you made a list of the most wanted characters, Fisto probably wouldn't even make the top 100.

I hear you. Worst SDCC reveals in recent memory. Mostly stuff we’ve seen before, or things no one seemed to be asking for. I’m completely bamboozled that we didn’t get a Bespin Han or Lando, or even anything related to The Mandalorian.

Totally bamboozled but at least we know it’s probably a sure bet for the Mando and TROS. I’m just super pumped over the Wicket (managing expectations though until/if he goes for PO), but I’m still so happy about the Solo Maul. That’s been a grail figure for me.
Cant believe no one is talking bout how god awful these sculpts are.....
HT has gone down a peg in quality.
Padme is terrible.....especially considering how good Anakin came out.

I think Padme looks quite bad, Mantis is also noticeably off.

The biggest shock for me is that Jango Fett debuted last SDCC and he still hasn't gone up for preorder! Wasn't there like a month where HT released a new Boba Fett like every other week?
