Got my Broly Movie Vegeta from BBTS yesterday. I like it, and don't understand why people say it looks crappy. What's wrong with it?

I didn't like him until i had him in hand, but now he is one of my favorites

They released a clear, white, and dark blue versions but their prices are now in the 2nd market range especially the clear one.

Not my picture, but i used a grey instead of black to make the lines less pronounced. Also I used a Blue marker as well and used it to highlight the muscles in the arms and legs. Makes the figure look 100x better.

Is that permanent marker? I have bad pulse

I used to own every single sh figuarts of DB but ended up selling the duplicates, since I'm not very rich, most of my sdcc went away but I could keep some of them

Is that permanent marker? I have bad pulse

It's a Gundam marker. You can actually wipe it off if you mess up. I'm not an old dog to these markers and am unsure if i can still wipe it off (I'm thinking i can with alcohol wipes), but it is nice as it has a lot of forgiveness.

That was the first thing that was very noticeable hahaha. I haven’t watched Dragon Ball Super yet but other than his alien bald design he looks pretty good as a character over all.

Ok, so before I could even begin to add some touch paint to Scouter Vegeta, I noticed I couldn't switch out his arms. In fact, the crossed arms sculpt itself couldn't stay in place. The pegs are not attached properly and are sliding into his shoulders. Making it impossible for the arms to attach.

Ok, no biggie. I'll just exchange it. Number 2 showed up today... exact same problem...

Ok, so before I could even begin to add some touch paint to Scouter Vegeta, I noticed I couldn't switch out his arms. In fact, the crossed arms sculpt itself couldn't stay in place. The pegs are not attached properly and are sliding into his shoulders. Making it impossible for the arms to attach.

the shoulder is a floating piece, the shoulder joint doesnt move, the shoulder just slides down, so push the shoulder piece up to expose the peg more

Thanks. Seems like a design flaw then. Cuz even pushing the right shoulder up doesn't expose enough of the peg. Arm keep easily falling off. Left fairs much better.

Tried for a while to avoid collecting this line, just picking up a couple pieces here and there. Got a Kid Goku, Bulma, and then I nabbed Goku 2.0 at B&N last summer for $30... but after starting FighterZ, the hunger for more of these guys finally came. Swung by a Game Stop yesterday on a whim and got a Scouter Vegeta 2.0 and Gotenks for $35 each! Wanted to give you guys a heads up - they are on clearance right now so stop by your local stores if they carry them. Mine had Roshi too for the same price. Hoping I can track down a couple more in the line in the $30-$40 range to save some cash for when I finally unload on the out of print characters. Wish I had nabbed Yamcha and Tien when they were still in the $60s. I'm going to NYCC in the fall and hoping I can trade some event exclusives for them (I'm only interested in Kid Goku blue)

Im so jealous you have some gamestop that stocks figuarts. The ones in all my area are small and stuffed with nonsense junk

It also sucks that we have like a gamestop within every 5-10 mile radius but no figuarts

Hay boy. I just checked my local GameStop... they have the same deal too. Only they had Gotank & Chibi Klylin. Buy 1, get the other half off. So both of em together woulda came out to around 70 bucks which is kinda a good deal. I hesitated, cuz the deal ends tomorrow, and they aren’t necessarily “must-have” characters I need

You guys think I should buy them?
