I actually like the fact there is no light up feature on this RO statue. Let's face it the electronics used are finicky at best and will only end up failing over time anyway, so it's just one less thing to worry about.

Opinions on which statues you like better are not debatable. Let everyone just enjoy their collections and other releases. For example, I like the IS Vader a lot better than the RO Vader, but I like the Vader Mythos PF even more. If someone else likes the statues in different order, that's fine with me.

I don't even see any comparison. Sideshow don't seem to be able to make a decent Vader currently (Not since the Mythos) The Iron studios version is amazing!! But each to their own of course....

I saw this already, the pose is awful, they tried to capture some dynamic pose but looks stupid and like a qb is throwing a ball. The IS pose is iconic and one of the best poses I ever saw. They nailed everything about that statue. The ss Vader doesn't look good and the price tag on top of that is crazy. They are obviously trying to compete with IS Vader, but fell way short and many agree with me. You like it great, but saying it is better or even close to the IS Vader is pure insanity. One day if prime one ever makes star wars they may be close but the majority will tell you what the best Vader is. Mythos is much better than this one! They screwed up the pose bad! RO never had vader on this base or doing whatever he is doing in that pose. You belong with aussiebot, dude has been dawging on the Is vader for ever, cuz he missed out! No offense but he is a troll. So, agreeing with him isn't saying much at all!

Im not a fan of the RO movie and the Quarterback football Pose but from the quality it looks a bit better to me than the IS left-handed backhand Tennis or Baseball Vader (exspecially the Fabric from Sideshow looks better and not so oversized) the paint on the Base gets better, it has not really an snow effect to me. rest paint is not really hard stuff, most black and silver. Its my opinion not more, that im not the greatest Fan of this piece. The quality from the RO PF from Sideshow looks better to me, but i dont will buy it!

Sorry, but some people here are completely talking through their ass - how can you possibly make an informed, educated decision about the "quality" of ANY product without seeing it, and whatever you're comparing it to, directly in the flesh???? Complete idiocy. Photo versus reality are two vastly different things. Same with the "poses" - unless you've seen either of these statues firsthand, you can't fully grasp how they truly look. The proto photos of the IS were appalling, but in-hand it's magnificent. I'm guessing the Sideshow will look far better in-hand than in photos to.

All power to whichever one you like better, but seriously - do your homework before becoming an "ignorant expert."

I personally don’t even collect SS products. So I have a bit of a biased opinion. Lol.

I’ll never buy one unless they make a full turn around and start putting some effort into their pieces. All of there stuff seems rehashed, with no imagination. Same old same old. Went from stiff museum poses to dynamic plastic toy poses. This Vader has like no switch outs, looks like a toy. The IS Vader has tons more and they managed to make it look like a museum piece too. Wow

This Rogue 1 Vader was a bad call too. Because unless your adding a switch out portrait or a museum pose and really making it look like a solid piece, then it’s just and another Toy from the Sideshow Toy Company.

There’s absolutely no passion left in this company. They make cereal box collectibles. Yes, I coined that term. Lmao.

They don’t seem to want to go the extra mile. Play it safe and make 2000s era toy statues.

Look at their rehashed Iron Man 1/1 bust.. They added some shoulders and the light up Arc reactor, something the original should, have had and they’re charging $1250 [emoji33][emoji33]

Queen Studios has the new one with all of that and tons more with the jet pack appendages hanging off the back and it’s $200 cheaper. Wtf...

How can anyone take Sideshow seriously anymore?? Now they’ve resorted to firing they’re employees, apparently they think their brand is being seriously tarnished. I wonder why.. lmao.
