To be honest, while this figure's height may not accurately reflect the height difference between Duchovny and Anderson, it is arguably screen-accurate, since they often had Gillian Anderson standing on a box for their scenes together to minimize their height difference during filming.

I'm just hoping Scully isn't weak in the ankles like Mulder...

While you all are right concerning the body, I really appreciate face improvements they made:)can’t wait:))

Can someone please post pics and links to adequate replacement bodies for her? I'd like to get a jump on getting one before she arrives. I've never felt the need to replace a body before but Sully definitely needs one.

Body I’m less worried about as that can be fixed that shirt collar is massive too Ike too thick so I’ll see about switching it with a pop toys. The suit is very Barbie like as in the fabric grain is too thick, tbd how I feel about it in hand.

What bothers me most about the head changes is that they seemed to soften it around her eyes, thinned her nose and gave her really odd generic looking lips. The exposed teeth from before brought a lot more likeness out I think.

Eh, looking back at the proto pics on pg 8, I'm seeing much more of a likeness to her now, and think the closed mouth works a lot better. The only issue I see is the thinner face reminds me more of the older Scully from the relaunch episodes than the younger Scully of the original.

Regardless though, the head still looks way undersized, so I'm not sure how much difference another body would make.

Yeah for sure the head is way undersized. You’re probably right that is the main issue here. I do agree that a black widow body or Leia body will be fine for her but her already too long sleeves and pea head will be the issue.

Same.
I'm so thankful that I'm not as hyper-critical as some regarding items that are meant to be part of a hobby that should be a relaxing escape from real life stress. All that negativity must wear a person down. If I were that disappointed by the majority of releases in my hobby, I'd find something else to collect. Unless being disappointed and unhappy is your thing. :dunno

Completely agreed.

I'll put it this way, if you crop the hair out of the headshot and enlarge it, gillian anderson is not who i would guess it is supposed to be. its ok though i guess.

This is better than Sideshow circa 2005, but seeing the level that the 1/6th game has reached, this just isn't there for me. I liked Mulder well enough when he was shown, but I actually think he looks even better in hand (largely because of the face shape for me). But I have less confidence in this improving and I think it's more off than the original Mulder prototype was.

I don't get "stressed" by a sculpt or figure I find disappointing - I make the decision to either buy it and keep it as is, buy it and have it modified if it's worth it to me to do so and I don't have other things on my plate, or pass altogether.

Scully needs her coat. Without it, the figure is too skinny!
