so how long do you think it'll take for the Pre-Order faux bronze statues to sell out

I still think this was the fairest way to go on these. A lot of people are gonna disagree with me, but us European collectors missed out bigtime on Doom and Cap. By the time we got the newsletter announing it, they were already sold out, not even an option to wait list.

PPO online may be a ^^^^^^, but ultimately it must be the fairest way for everyone worldwide to have an equal chance.

what got me is i didn't wish to collect the line. didn't go to the bowen site for about a week and in that time, they put DD up for sale and it sold out. i have a big DD collection and that would be the only one i'd want. today i breezed through the ordering process but they were all gone. the elusive daredevil!

The thing is, these were up at the Bowen site for like 2 months before any of them were even sold out there, so I don't understand why people are complaining so hard for not getting one.

I got mine from Best Comics, but I put an order in on SSC just to see and got WLed. Oh well, I'll just have to wait for my other ones.

Exactly, no matter which way it is done, someone will complain about something, the time, the system, the servers. Unfortunately theres no pleasing everyone but thats the name of the game so to speak.

As many have said these items were available to people in the US for a while directly from Bowen before they Sold Out, they had a better chance of securing the characters they wanted through them, us International however could not.

IMO SS did this one the best way, with the PPO rather than relying on the newsletter.

Anyway,It's all part of the fun if you ask me.

ok, so I've cooled down.... Sorry I was just FURIOUS! This was my first experience and I didn't know how ridiulous this was going to be like. I didn't think it'd come down to luck, but I guess I learned. I've always loved Sideshows work, as it's the BEST out there. But I just hate fighting crowds, and this is the CRAZIEST I've ever seen it. Congrats to all who landed these. They're nice pieces

Complaining is part of human nature. This forum would become quite boring if the only thing that got said is "yay it's all awesome" - Don't you agree?

What I'd like to know, maybe you can answer this, is why my order got messed up saying I tried to place a mixed order of EU and US products!?
I had to go back and uncheck one of the item numbers (and then you find out which item# corresponds to which statue, and uncheck it within 46 seconds!)

Some people aren't aware of these statues! It's all about product awareness! Just like the Auddi R8 featured in Iron Man. It seemed like AFTER it was featured in the movie, the R8's just went FLYING out of showroom floors!! It's not like Bowen advertises their stuff ALL over the web... So cut the people a little slack that didn't know about these until they saw it on Sideshow
