Hasbro 6" Black Series Star Wars line

The Threepio SHF and Bandai are close, there are slight differences to the design/build and size. The Bandai kit has a much better (more accurate) gold color. R2 seems to be identical, I don't have any comparison pics on my phone apparently. The han and luke in stormtrooper disguise Bandai kits are the same heads as the SHF figures with different paint apps. The only non armored Bandai kit I can think of is Yoda from the prequels, which I don't have. Wonder how close it is to the upcoming SHF Yoda?

I just finished this guy too, decided to paint the Scarif Trooper in OT white & black colors:

Ah I forgot about the Yoda kit, but be fair, he’s really a tiny statue with no articulation, so Im not sure he really counts in any comparisons.

Do you build any ships as well, I've really gotten into trooper building and the Bandai ships. I went a little over board weathering my R2 and Threepio! And agreed on the Yoda Bandai kit, that's exactly why I passed on it.

I haven't gotten into the ships yet, I'm afraid to open that door lol - but I do love doing the figure kits! Next up for me is either the Death Trooper (in white armor - aka: Ghost Trooper), or I might pull apart and do a full makeover on my first Stormy I built. Give him full paint treatment and cloth where the body suit is exposed

Fantastic weathering on those figures Reefer and Alucard! I still have yet to weather my Shoretrooper, need some black panelliner.

I received my second Mimban Han trooper, worse paint than the first.
I might end up with three if I manage to find one in the wild with great paint. Also ordered Mace from Amazon today, hope the paint is perfect on that one 'cause can't cover up the ugly with a helmet.

After seeing the review on Fwoosh, cancelled Grievous. Cape is bad, and he looks a tad under sized. Not a bad fig by any means, I am just picky. Gonna get the Bandai model kit instead.

I still haven't gotten a Mimban Han (haven't been able to find one at a good price). Sorry to hear you're getting wonky paint apps, is it Han's UV printed face that they keep messing up? I too just ordered Mace from Amazon, fingers crossed he arrives ok.

I got a gundam panel liner pen off Amazon for dirt cheap, just a few bucks, I'd recommend that.

Seriously, they just put out X-Wing pilot Luke with the UV printed face but I'm like "where is the Bespin Luke with new face?". Would go perfectly with a redone Yoda.

Thanks man, much appreciated! I kinda messed my shoretrooper up a bit to be honest. I was experimenting with paint, went a bit too heavy on him and ended up softening some details - doh!

for weathering though, i just use a mix of the cheap craft paint with water. Still figuring out this stuff though, hopefully I’ll get better!

Thanks. I bought a 12 cube kallax from ikea that I plan to fill up with these and whatever else I can put in it. I have a lot of action figures just sitting around in boxes taking up a lot of space.

I have dooku and yoda on preorder. Grievous looks very clean I hope he isn’t super expensive.

Same, can't wait for Dooku and Yoda. Grevious could go a few ways, if he ends up being a web exclusive he will be like $110 or more like Infinity War Thor, hoping he's around the $80 mark at most, but even if he's more I'll get him, have to.
