While we're talking mega priced 1/6th Indy... it's still my absolute dream if one of those companies like "Go Truck" would do a 1/6 replica (screen accurate) of the German Cargo truck... That would be the absolute coolest 1/6 Indy display ever... Fill it with german troops crawling out the side etc..

Here's the modern deuce and a half they did... (if you aren't familiar with their stuff)

I do actually think the same thing whenever I see a 1/6 truck! LOL!

Only problem is it doesn’t really look like Harrison. More like Dennis Quaid.

Yeah, Arnie and Indy just don't gel somehow, Trevor Grove and Indy, yeah, they gel. That said, I have yet to see a commercial product that has truly done either of them the justice they deserve. Blitzway got as close as I've ever seen with Arnie's Carlito though.

Id say the Sideshow TOD has gotten the closest with Fords likeness.

Do people really take much notice from that "Celebslikeme" comparison. Even Harrison Ford as Indy is only a 77% match to Harrison Ford.

I chose a similar angled photo of Arnie's sculpt and the result was the same match as the real photo of Ford. Not bad.

People see what they see. There's angles that resemble Ford. But overall Im not sold. Especially if you are looking at the cost.
At that price point it should scream Ford Indy.

Also comparing 80s Ford to how he looks now isn't going to get 100% either. People's faces change with age.

What about here? There's no mistaking it's HF.

It's still off to me, if you see him, fine, others might not.
I think the level of skill and realism is what adds to people’s love of it.

Personally I agree with you; it is off in many areas but nevertheless a brilliant piece.
It's very photorealistic. But yeah, no Ford in my eyes either.

I'm still seeing Dennis Quaid even in that pic.

Sometimes people have expectations of sculptors, just because they can nail one actor it doesn't always mean they'll nail others. I don't think Arnie has ever nailed Ford, and yet his takes on Bruce Lee and Al Pacino are stunning.
