Revenge Of Sith Lightsaber Set

MR has a deal going on for three ROTS Lightsabers. You get Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Yoda. For the price I thought it was too good a deal to pass on. It came today and really these are quite nice and I love the case it comes with covering the items.

Nice score Josh, pisses me off that they're doing this though, since I made my own set of those three and the display base back when they were first released, but what can you do. I don't know if you have it or not, but I actually went with Obi-Wan, Anakin and Sidious mini sabers in a trio, I liked the idea of the set being brothers and the evil that tore the apart. Then I have Yoda, Dooku and AOTC Obi-Wan in a trio display of prequel sabers, with ROTJ Luke, ANH Obi-Wan, and ESB Vader for my OT trio. I like the minis, they're great quality, and very affordable, and the display base MR came up with is great, shows em off well and good for dust protection, I hated cleaning my minis before the cases came out.

The Obi looks sweet... I may need to get those.

Act fast, they're on sale as a package to unload inventory as part of MR's "We're dropping the license." blowout that's going on lately.

These are really cool. I'm glad they offered them in this scale. I have 6 of them. They went well with the Unleashed figures, but they go better with Sideshow's, so I may have to get more eventually.

I may snag Palps as well. Put it with the GG Bust I have. This set was really worth getting. My Dad was quite impressed with them and I think might want them 4 himself.

The scaled sabers are great. I've got just about all of them (except for the gold and smoked chrome chases). They are great to put in front of Premium Format figures too. I've got the scaled items in front of each respective SW PF fig. Princess Leia was a little tricky, so I just put the scaled Stormtrooper blaster in front of her.

the 1:1 versions are sexier

I'm thinking putting them in front of the busts but the PF would do great as well. I saw on MR site they have the full scale mini of Maul on there for sale. It says for CC members but I wonder if it matters at this point?

Those are very cool. I'd rather get these and take the savings to buy other items I want. A little give and take.

True, the minis are addicting. It's kind of like marijuana is a gateway drug..... buy a few minis and the next thing you know you are buying 1 or 2 1:1s.

I can understand that. I can see myself getting a 1:1 or two someday. Just not right now. If I wasn't in the process of trying to buy a house or start saving anyways then I'd do it now.

I just have the single 1:1 saber ...

That's the same one I have for my only 1:1, and I absolutely love it. It changes my perception of that saber in mini form a bit, but overall, I still enjoy the mini sabers.

Josh, I see the Maul full mini on eBay often for cheap prices, try there if you can't get one through MR.

Nice set Josh, you're tempting me. I've looked at the mini's before, but they seem so small that I haven't convinced myself to pick any up yet. The price on them is really good, so its bee pretty tempting. The thing I really want is a 1:1 saber.

I figure for $25 its worth a shot. If not then no biggie and I can try ebay if I really want it.

I wouldn't be doing my job as a Freak if I didn't. They're small but not that small if that makes sense. The detail is pretty insane for the size too. Yeah, the price is just nuts on these I mean they're $35 a piece plus like $20 for the stand normally. Plus free shipping which is always nice.
