Brrr its cold in here
Been looking around some and have yet to really find any Star Trek Ship Collectables, like Code 3 did for Star Wars, is there anything out there similar?

I know of the Original Enterprise being done by CM, other than that not much else and searchs on ebay usually come up with model kits and the occasional US mint stuff.

Thanks!

Evan

I am a big Trek fan and I don't really know of much out there either. I passed on the MR Enterprise as I'd much rather have the refit version of the Constitution class. I'd love to see the Reliant and Excelsior as well, but other than the old model kits there is not that much out there that I have seen.

While it's not a high-end piece, I have Art Asylum's new Enterprise-E ship from their "Starship Legends" toy line. It is very well-detailed and a nice size for display on a desk.

I got that too. It is one of my favorite ships on display at the moment. For me the AA/DST stuff works for me. Although I would love a boomerang phaser from MR and a TNG tricorder but other than that I am a happy little Trekie.

Would you guys mind posting some pics of the Art Asylum Enterprise... I've thought about getting them in the past. But have never seen a non-production picture.

I would love a set of high quality 1/6 figures like JEan luc Picard, Jonathan Archer amongst others. Seriously, why is it taking so long for a series

Art Asylum seems to be the only ones making any Trek stuff. They do a great job, so I'm not complaining.

The lack of higher end stuff from companies like Sideshow is a bit confusing though.

Trek is really in a down time right now and outside of the core trekkers there is not a lot of interest in the general population. I really wish SS had continued with the PF of the original crew however as they were ver nice pieces. Why they through in Seven of Nine I dont know but I am not complaining.

Gladly. I've included both standard collection pics and some Photoshop pics as well.

One glaring flaw with the ship, though, is that the blue warp nacelles do NOT light up...have no idea why, but they don't. Still, a great ship. Pictures can't do it justice.

Also, for a sense of scale, the TNG Art Asylum figures are in the 7 inch scale

There are the larger Corgi ships. they're not high end but they look like a good alternative to the AA/DST ships:

The Highest end ships so far are those from Japan. They're very much like models but have light up features and don't require any glue, they're all snap kits and come fully painted. But you will have to remove the trees.
They're made by Bandai, here you can see what they look like, but they're all sold out:

So will Master Replicas be offering these for sale on their website? I'm definitely interested in buying the Enterprise-D.
These have been for sale at Entertainment Earth for some time.
I forgot to mention they're Diecast:

The Enterprise -D is currently sold out:
https://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=CB96603
There are two versions of each, one with an unpainted ship and a more elaborate light and sound base (which is double the price of the regular ones).
You might find these at other retailers right now.

I've seen the Corgi NCC-1701 classic at a Hastings store. I was planning on buying the line but I was so disappointed with the final product that I decided not to. I guess the AA/DST starships will be it for me, Trek-wise.

So these look bad in person?
I have the first two of the AA/DST ships and I like them. The only issue is how the nacelles connect to the ship, sometimes they don't always want to sit properly in the socket and try to pop out.

hey guys, which of the starships wud be your fav design? Mine wud be the romulan warbirds. They are amazing and very unique not to mention incredibly powerful. Just wondering if you guys know of any gd quality models that were released of them

Favorite design would have to be the Klingon Bird Of Prey from Star Trek III the Search for Spock. My second favorite design is the Defiant. Third, the USS Enterprise refit or model A, the one seen in the early movies.

Ahh...crap!!! :(

Oh well...hopefully MR will also make them available at a later date, or I can try other retailers in a month or two when I have the extra money. There's just too many other things that are a priority right now.

But thanks for the heads-up!! :)

I've only seen the classic NCC-1701 from the Corgi line and I thought it looked bad. The main problem was the front end of the warp nacelle wasn't a nice trans. red but rather a non-trans. neon orange. Looks really cheap.

I love the AA/DST ships! I've got the NX-01, NCC-1701-A, and NCC-1701-E. I'm really excited about the upcoming NCC-1701 (classic) version!

I'm anxious to see what AA/DST will do with the Enterprise-D and (hopefully) the Defiant!!! Voyager may look cool as well, but I don't know if I like the design enough to spend $40 on the ship.

I'll buy any ship that AA/DST releases, especially Starfleet ships! I'm not interested in battle-damaged ships though. If these continue to sell, I'm sure that a Defiant and Voyager will come along at some point.
