I really liked this show and hated hearing that SyFy had cancelled it.

SyFy is a little goofy with their programming if you ask me. I never watched this show, TBH, but I know it had a huge following at one point. Sad for the fans.
I used to be a big, BIG fan of show, The Invisible Man, one of their SciFi Friday shows years ago, and they took that one from me. I feel your pain.

It's better than some of the other stuff out there, but I don't really feel sad that it's over.
The only shows I'm watching on SyFy now is Warehouse 13, Eureka and Sanctuary.

I think people just had Stargate fatigue, much like they did when they had Star Trek fatigue and Enterprise got cancelled.
They would have been better off making Universe a brand new franchise, and calling it something different
