Saw this trailer over the weekend, this movie looks pretty cool, has a Lone Wolf & Cub feel to it.

Well... saw this yesterday.

It was cheesy, predictable, goofy and I loved it.

Story is older than dirt, but it has a playfullness that I completely wasn't expecting. It was almost like a fairy tale. A sometimes violent and twisted fairy tale...

Some of the characters started off annoying (Kate Bosworth) but ended up growing on you as the movie went along. The costumes were awesome, the fighting is very stylized but cool, the characters are nothing more than archetypes...

It's a little bit steampunk, a little bit fairy tale, a little anime. Almost like someone dug into my subconscious and threw a bunch of things that I like into a big pot and cooked this sucker up.

Don't recommend this for everyone, but it was awesome for me.

I saw it when it came out. Had some cheesy moments but overall a good movie .
