It was a sic fi movie involving a man and a woman on a space rescue ship who come out of hybernation. They both find everyone else onboard ship dead or missing, and a strange object that was taken on board. Within the strange object, from another ship they had been sent to rescue, is an alien artifact that made the original live crew psycho mad. They also find out that their ship had been on autopilot for years and is at the outer edge of the solar system almost out of fuel.
They manage to contact a rescue ship, who tells them they are almost too far away. The two then decide to let themselves die rather that let the dangerous alien artifact come back to earth.
