Sounds like "V" is going to be revisited

As long as somewhere in the series Morena Baccarin and Elizabeth Mitchell have to fight in a giant ring of Jello, I'm in.......clothing optional

I would rather they had made a theatrical movie, but I'll give this a shot. I wouldn't think they could spend enough money for effects for this. Alot of shows that are getting good ratings aren't being renewed because of money issues and reality tv being so cheap to produce.

All the Juliette fans will be happy now!

This one is straight to TV and has none of the classic characters.
Kenneth Johnson, the original's creator, is trying to get a theatrical sequel to the 80's version off the ground.

I was never a big fan of the original series, but I'll be checking it out. A reboot worked for BSG. And since Alan Tudyk and Morena Baccarin are involved, how could I not?

I don't have much hope for it lasting since it's on a major network (ABC). These sci fi/genre shows never stand a chance on the big 3 since their budget is big to begin with. If shows don't get American Idol type numbers the first week they're on, they're canceled by the second episode!

If it was on USA or FX or SciFi, then maybe they could've had a shot at sticking around.

This looks really bad from the pics so far....loved the original two movies and even some of the series too.

What happened to brining back Donovan and Julie though!??!?! That would have been better IMO.

Whoever gave this the greenlight should be fired.

loved the show when I was a kid!!

I've have the original two mini-series on DVD. It was all the rage when I was a kid. Interested in seeing what it will look like with modern day special effects added.

Me too, Still like to watch it. Be warned though. This is NOT the V we knew in the 80's. There is some kind of license "split" on V. ABC has the the rights to do a new TV version and Kenneth Johnson, the original's creator has the rights to the original characters and is trying to get a theatrical "sequel" underway. Thats really simplifying the situation, but you get the idea.

There are already a couple of threads about V's return on the forum.
This is not a continuation of the 80's V, but another in the long line of lets take a great old success and reimagine it, then wonder what happened if it fails.
